This is one of the best I have seen so far. Wish the male and female characters danced together more.

So gorgeous!! Lovely dancing, and so joyfully performed. I love the inclusion of the children; so important to pass down our beautiful traditions.

Thank you for posting this beautiful video! One point of contention: The African movements are described as "rugged" while the French are described "graceful," which unfortunately reinforces colonial/racist values. It would be great if this description could be edited to reflect the movements more accurately; after all, these African movements can also be seen as "graceful" depending on the viewer, and I'd say that they are not rugged at all. A word like "staccato" instead of "rugged" seems less charged, and of course there are other words that can work as well. I know it may seem like a minor point to some, but these words are so significant, especially when we are representing our culture. Thanks again for the gorgeous choreography and video!
