MY SON LOSES ON HIS BIRTHDAY

Seven whole years of Uriah Beau! As our second child celebrates his seventh birthday, it’s hard to believe how long it’s been since he was a toddler or a baby. It feels like yesterday I was learning how to be a father to a baby. Now I’m learning how to be a father to a young man, and though somethings are the same, lots of things are different. He asks so many questions and is hardly ever satisfied with my answers. He always wants to know and do more. He doesn’t realize it now but he has a passion for growth, a desire to be in the world in a way that allows him to discover and explore. I am so inspired by this kid, even when he asks me “why” over and over again. Actually, it’s because he asks me why over and over again. I can’t wait to spend the next seven years loving him and watching him become who God made him to be. In life we are taught how to win. We are not taught how to lose. Theo, Uriah, Anaya and Uzi have parents who are leading them into the righteous direction. Anaya's hair is pretty. Anaya, may be trying to find her way of were she belongs because she is the only daughter in the family. Interacting with other little girls may help. Glen, when are you going to ask Yvette, to sing the birthday? She has a wonderful singing voice. Glen, it is a blessing to see you grow as man/father. God's Blessings to you and your family.

Just healing my inner child and learning/absorbing as much information on how to parent as possible. I never realized the impact of my childhood and how my parents patented my siblings and I, up until my late 20s and now I'm 30. My heart breaks for all that I missed learning, wishing I was shaped into a better human, maybe my one would have been different than what I'm experiencing now. Life's not over yet. I'm so grateful ya'll show your littles in all aspects of their development. Children not eating or regressing is common but I think that parents take it personally because people don't talk about it socially. I love me some Riah Beau and his hair is dope lol.
