Put up the tent other way around. First put the poles in the outer tent and put it upside down like a wet umbrell to dry on the ground. Than clip the inner tent inside and turn the complete tent around. Much easier!

We had a go at that first but found it easier this way. Mind you this was a first time dry run out of the bag, so I'm sure there is some room to dial in!

I have one and it is very good, just you don't have the original pegs, the ones you have are just flimsy, the original ones are more sturdy, they are like a tube with a hook on top so you can attach the ground sheet high to avoid water coming in, and the head of the pegs is a round piece so you can hamer on it with a stick or stone in case you don't have a mallet.

those sound like a pretty nice touch. Funny surplus tidbit as these are what they came in with (I suppose pegs go missing over time and the soldiers or supplier has replaced these over time).

Looks like a great reliable tent. I have the American version 2 man combat tent.

The Belgians seem to have done a pretty good job I gotta say. Hopefully down the track we can get our hands on the US 2 man version as well!

It seems like a lot of messing about to put that tent up compared to the elegant simplicity of the Dutch army tent.
@armyand_Outdoors8 ай бұрын
is that the Dutch 2 man you are referring too? Those do go up quick! - although the single layer looks maybe a little too simple. We will have to get some in to give a try!

@@dyslectische that is essentially what military bashas are and typically what will be used in a combat environment. Pitching a fully fledged tent is a luxury that can't always be afforded but worth it imo if your environment allows - something that pays off in dividends if you live with plenty of bitey things ie. Scotland midges or the West Coast of New Zealand 😅😅

Hi, just turn the outer tent with the poles inside on top just like an wet umbrella to dry. Than put the clips from the inner ten into the poles and turn the complete tent around. Much more easy.

all relative to your area, my friend. Not exactly for up close, jigsaw does do a good job of being disruptive at distance I must say

I think it could be less contrasty as it would be used in lots of different surroundings. Anyway a good video, I'll look out for more 👍
