Belgian Malinois Puppy Training | Basic Obedience/ Basic Commands Part 1

Hey Guys!
Today, Kai is showing off his new tricks! Cairo/"Kai" is my 2,5 months old Belgian Malinois puppy, and so far he's doing great! He learned some commands such as come, sit, lie down, stay, leave it, and a bonus command in progress, roll over. Still a lot to improve, but he's taking his time, slow but steady. It's relatively easy to train him new tricks, but he's still very young and still learning the basic luring. If he's not in the mood, our training sessions won't become effective, so I'm using one of his favorite treats ever, boiled eggs! We'll come back soon, with brand new tricks and also improvements! First, do not encourage him to bite, pull your hand away and say "no", or maybe "ouch!" To let him know it hurts. Buy him toys to distract, but most importantly, let him take his time 😁 eventually, he will stop biting. I know Maligators are nasty biters when compared to other breeds 🤣 but trust me, as long as you're not encouraging him, he will stop as he grows 😆

Yes, all good and a great handler. The tricky part in this particular situation is that this excellent handler is young and forced to enter employment or college. For this fine fur baby, we need handler parents to step in for daily routines. What I'm trying to point out is that the little Shepherd is a forever three year old with spicks of 5 years and even shockingly adult spikes. This handler's parents must be completely ready to step in for the four legged child when their two legged child goes to college. Easy but you have to be dialed into this most excellent dog. I know this family can do the job simply by watching this vid. Thank God for great handlers! To the handler: not about 'tricks, but about bonding. That concept is most difficult. Consult your father. You're on the trakc now do NOT derail. This dog genetically demands an experienced handler. Parents must be backup. you training method is solid. Food at this age then toys. Two books: Mandilk and Balabanov, use your food technique as shown by Balabanov, for the dumbbell for this dog, Malinois, Won't be right but the dog won't stress out. You look good, but do not change.

My answer is gonna be redirection: when he tries to bite, I grab one of his toys and show him, and he would concentrate on the toy. And in case he bit me, I'm gonna yell out "ouch!" (Even when it doesn't hurt). I also think it's no use to hit or punish the puppy, because puppies (especially BM) is always gonna bite. Be patient, it's just the process 👍

I would tire the dog out then go into training. Afterwards when the puppy isn't interested in the training and then goes with nippling, set him back in the crate and rest and redo

All you need is to let your puppy you are the Alpha. Start with "no" everytime he bites. They will eventually know. Then use the word Easy so they know to go gently on other objects. My two dogs r German Sheperd and Belgian Malinois. I got them both when they were puppy.. My words were sit, no, easy, eat, come here, bad, lay down, and go home. Make sure you give them a treat telling them they r doing good job. Make them explore like seeing other animals and people. So when they see them they just ignore them. They will bark if strangers come to your home. I haven't try if a stranger attack me will they attack 🤔. I know they bark at strangers when they come over.

I have seen some with white paws, and I do believe it is possible (although not entirely sure). Kai has some white mark in his chest, so maybe it is possible. But purebred or not, I think white paws are super cool! 😆

It's actually hard to decide, because Belgian Malinois' are very very active, so a comfortable space for training & exercise is very important. But maybe if you're willing to take him/her outside more often (not just for walks), then maybe you should!

Hey! Normally I only give 2 pcs of eggs for 1 training session (but only the whites). And don't worry 'cause eggs are rich in protein, the only thing to keep in mind is their calories 😁.

German shepherd will listen to your commands but not too active. My other Belgian Malinois is more active. She likes to run, jump, and chase other objects. I noticed my German Sheperd guards around my property but the Belgian she likes to go and explore. Both dogs r smart and their own ways.

Hey there! Older dogs are completely trainable! (Although it's not gonna be easier than training a puppy). Taking him/her home and introducing him/her to your dogs might be the tricky part, I would recommend seeking professional help if you're not sure 😆🙏

I gave him boiled eggs, and I always make sure that I don't give him too much treats, but as for excessive weight, I don't worry that much because Belgian Malinois aren't those type of breeds that gain weight easily 😆. Kai is currently a year old, still eats a lot, and weighs around 26kgs

Hey there! I'm currently giving him Royal Canin Maxi Puppy. My vet also recommend Hill's Science Diet Puppy for my other dog (cause he needs to maintain his weight). Those two are my recommendations. Oh and in case what you meant was the treat, I gave him boiled eggs (without the yolk)😆
