That is to say, they are ALL in on it! At least half the time, these jokers are following a script! They are soooo good at it that they just have to make things LOOK like they are making an effort in the stretch. I've seen too many 2-5 horses run last around the track, and rally up for 4th in the stretch behind the 30-1 shots in my life to believe its not fixed anymore. I used to love horse racing. I used to be able to handicap the races, and have a good chance! Now, I try to figure how they fix

Looks like what is done here in the USA every day, only more sloppy! The racing industry argues that the horse is an animal, and they cant help it if he doesn't want to run. This may be true in a few cases, but in the very MOST part, the jockey has COMPLETE control of the horse while running. The use, or non use of the whip, lead changing, and positioning dictate how the horse will run. Completely in the hands of the rider. They cannot be that stupid. I think they are very clever, and work team!

Lets not be niaive. Where theres big or easy money we will cheat. Did you sneak an ace up your sleeves at school? Cheat the tax? Claim expenses that were fictional? The biggest scam in racing is not fixing but usage of anabolics and male hormones especially on fillies. The punt and stud $ has always been a huge incentive since Irish trained horses won UK biggies since the 60's with everybody believing in a maestro trainer. In Oz "Armstrongism" in racing is hushed up to maintain state revenue.
