Stafford has the arm strength and accuracy over purdy but not the mobility. He is a pocket QB that if you give stafford time he can pick you apart but he's not big threat to run outside the pocket like purdy. the difference comes down to how each coach utilizes the strengths of each. when Kittle was back you could see how the mobility of Purdy came into play against the bears. SF, special teams made the rams look better than they were the same way they made AZ and Seattle look better. was more about SF underperforming that cost them those games. if they dont beat themselves even with all the injuries their record would be flipped

At times Nick has alright arguments against Purdy, but when it becomes a debate between him and Stafford, he really reveals an inherent bias against Purdy. Brou dominated that segment, because the case he made with the state clearly support his argument so strongly. And yes, Nick, Stafford doesn’t have a Super Bowl and Purdy does, but it took Stafford 13 years to get that ring. How in the world is it fair to hold that against Purdy when he’s only had 2 years to get it done and Stafford has had 13?

@@stevenellis99no they’re not, cmc and Aiyuk are the only premier players on the niners outside of Kittle at this point. This whole niner o line not being that bad is highly misleading. The niners o line is garbage in pass protection but good at the run. The defense is a shell of itself this year. the reality is Stafford and purdy are in very comparable situations as a whole team but on the offense it’s not even close at the moment. Purdy has had McCaffrey, Aiyuk, Deebo, Jennings, and Kittle. When he’s missing Aiyuk and CMC? Having Kittle (the best TE in the league), Deebo, Jennings and a top 12 o-line by PFF is still a solid supporting cast of weapons. The Rams are completely carried by Stafford, Kyren, Kupp and Puka. Brou maybe could've appealed to Nick by saying the Stafford graphic is indicative that very few dudes in the league can get by without their stars around them. The list is basically Allen Lamar and Mahomes as far as QB's you can surround with random dudes and still expect to win. Darnold goes from the Jets and Panthers to the loaded Vikings and suddenly has a career year, weird. Baker goes from the Browns and Panthers to the Bucs who are loaded on offense and is suddenly a darling. Geno is a complete journeyman then suddenly finds himself with Metcalf and Lockett and Nick loves him. Strouds offensive line falls apart and his dudes are hurt and he's "regressed." QB's need dudes to throw to unless you're at the absolute top.
