**ALSO - if you hear my dog barking in the background of the video....🤷🏻‍♀🤦🏻‍♀. Beau just today discovered his reflection in the window of our back door (most likely b/c it gets dark here so early so it's almost mirror-like at night) and he's taken the reflection to be ANOTHER DOG WHO IS GOING TO MURDER EVERYONE SO HE MUST FREAK OUT TO PROTECT US ALL..... or at least that's what we think is going through his head. Needless to say he saw his reflection during my voiceover, freaked out, and I just kept going b/c if it isn't the dog it's the kids or the heater or a neighbour blasting music and I just pick and choose what I can allow in my videos b/c I have NO CONTROL. So there's the latest chaos LOL!! And yes we open the door so Beau can bound out onto the back deck in the snow to chase off the "intruder" that he never seems to find 🤪🙄

Oh my this is one of my favorite holiday cards this year! That heat foiling, beautiful color combo and sparkle make my inner pack rat just want to go out and buy all the sparkling goodness here. Wonderful card! I don't own a foiling machine (retired and can't afford all these NEW items). But, I think a dark inked background with some gold pine cones & then snow type sparkles inside the shaker pocket would work too. LOVE the dog story. We live on a mountain (no close neighbors). We have a new Border Collie pup named "Patriot". She see's reflections too and believes that she is brave. Growling and barking while all the while backing up and hiding behind mom. Have to laugh at her "bravery". Thank you for your wonderful creativity that you share with all of us.

Gorgeous card!! Not a fan of flat shakers though. I have too many dimensional embellishments for shakers that wouldn’t fit. Plus, it’s so dry here that horrible static is a real problem. Thank you so much for this beautiful inspiration.

Amy these cards are gorgeous ❤️ I love the purple hues not normally defined as Christmas colors , but they just work!! I have decided to imitate them as my Christmas cards ( if that is ok?) May I ask about the striped tape along the side of your paper cutter please? I get SO excited when I see your name pop up on my feed. I just love every thing you do. ❤️

the washing tape is to mark the 6 1/4" and 6 1/2" measurements on the paper cutter. And yes it's fine to use this for your xmas cards - the only time it' can be an issue is when people copy/post online/don't give credit/use the design to profit etc. But taking the inspiration and using that for personal cardmaking? Totally OK with that :)

nope I just like amethysts, and gemstones in particular. We didn't want to go with diamonds for my rings (at least not for the main ones) so he picked amethyst and I love it/them/him ;)
