Run clubs are amazing and you’re right they are blowing up (we have the biggest in the uk) but I do love running on my own there’s something pretty tranquil about it! Great episode!

Sorry but I have to do it, as a native Oregonian who now lives in Atlanta I have to say that there is no comparison in regards to homelessness between the two locations. Oregon, and the West Coast in general, only do a few things well. Birkenstocks, Subarus, and widespread amounts of people experiencing homelessness at one time who occupy all roads, trails, parking lots, storefronts, other people's front and back yards, etc. I'm not going to let anyone take any of those achievements away from my homeland :-)

Great episode. Love the old ads at the end of the podcast. I believe Vans made a shoe with steel rolls that ran horizontally through the rear of the shoe for spring. Energy return was a thing even then!

Someone who traveled most of my life but settled in Baltimore from 92 to 2024 and lived in Mt vernon, Charles village, cross keys, Roland park, and harbor east. Baltimore is a great city and has great places to run. Running on the inner harbor, NCR trail, B&A Trail, Druid Hill and more, Baltimore has a great running scene.

Throwing some love BITR way .. they are a focal point for the running community in the US .. that summary at the start says it all 'what we like is the culture of running , the spirit of just being out there and doing stuff' they are the jack of all shoe related geekery and the master of none. The 'for the Belive in the run' hits home to me and at least 100000 others out there. Thanks for having them on . For the record I have my own coach , I only buy from brick and mortar stores unless I have too and do my own thing re shoes (can't stand super trainers etc).. and I still listen in to all their podcast / shows.

Great episode! Love RW content and BITR has been a game changer for me. The BITR reviews caused me to try some shoes other than Brooks and both performance and enjoyment have been elevated in a big way. I never would have tried shoes like the Novablast, Rebel, or Endorphin Speed and that would have been a shame. Thanks for what you do!

BITR may be unique in that they don't 'disclose' whether anyone gave them reviewed shoes for free. Now, these guys are given everything they review, of course. They aren't paying for shoes - except Nikes that they actually want to use themselves (as opposed to reviewing them). Yet, they do not waste the viewer's time with the 'dislosure' chapter of a review video. That's the best compliment I can give them.
