​@katetully1858 I don't think Lewis ever intended to write a spin-off series. A reader asked him to write another book bringing Susan back into the story. He wrote back and said he thought she may get to Aslan's country "in her own way" but that that would be more of a story for adults than the kind of story he wanted to write into the Narnia Chronicles. And I'm not sure when that was, but there were 7 years between when the last _Chonicles of Narnia_ book was published and when he died.

@@taktasahina4254 Edmund looked back twiced, at one point he was looking back over Peter's shoulder ( or you couyld say he was looking back from the backside of Peter), and when Peter barely glimpsed back, Edmund also stared in the same direction they were all coming from. All three looked back except Susan even though Peter looking back was half hearted. Peter glimpse back but Susan kind of blocked his view. Susan was the only one who never tried to look back, she instead looked towards the train directly in front of her and then look towards Peter hence blocking Peter face from getting a last glimpse of Narnia..

Andrew Adamson (the director) really deserves a lot of credit for his choice of needle drops. He directed the first two Narnia movies and the first two Shrek movies, and every single song he chose fits perfectly with the mood and emotion of the scenes without being too jarring. I wish he would direct more movies.

That Bear character is one of my favourites from this film. He is like the gentle giant archetype through and through. The way he waves goodbye to them at 2:01 just makes me smile, since it's very similar to that of a child and highlights this idea of his sweetness and innocence.

I always have a lump in my throat at this scene especially when the song starts. The changes from the book were wonderful and this kiss is one of them. Caspian's fate has always seemed sad to me and this scene proves it to me every time. And the fact that the sequels didn't see the light of day leaves me with a bitter taste. Ben Barnes would still have had great scenes in the silver chair and with imagination he could have been from "The Last Battle too". So I know I'm going to cry again but I watch it until the end. J'ai toujours une boule dans la gorge à cette scène surtout quand la chanson commence. Les changements par rapport au livre étaient merveilleux et ce baiser en fait partie. Le sort de Caspian m'a toujours semblé triste et cette scène me le prouve à chaque fois. Et le fait que les suites n'aient pas vu le jour me laisse un goût amer. Ben Barnes aurait quand même eu de belles scènes dans "The Silver Chair" et avec de l'imagination il aurait pu être aussi de "The Last Battle". Alors je sais que je vais encore pleurer mais je la regarde jusqu'à la fin.

My adventure with these movies began by watching part 1 a few times. After that, I actually knew there were two more, but I watched the third one first. I didn't know then that it was the third one and I was actually surprised why there weren't all four, then it turned out that the second one was Prince Caspian. And then the third one was on TV all the time and I watched it and it was cool. Better than the first movie. I just watched the second part and it's the best. That last scene was sad, just Susan and Peter saying goodbye to this place forever. As if it would be just their imagination or they would completely forget because they are already adults. And Caspian and Susan, of course, should be together and I'm angry now that she didn't return to him in the third part. He was in the third part but they didn't meet at all. And the music so beautiful 🥺. Almost cried

nah the first one is better than the third, cuz the white witch is there and i love the battle, it was so cool, good narnians vs evil narnians, the battlefield is so wide and the four siblings are all together, i love the second part too that's the one i watched hundred times when i was a kid, that's why i also love the first film cuz it all started there and atleast it wasn't the last good bye when they got out of the wardrobe

If you don't remember, they have a mother and father in their world who they love and can't just abandon. Another reason why I don't understand how they stayed so long in Narnia in the first place (first movie) getting so extremely attached to it and practically forgetting how they got there in the first place by barley remembering the lamp-post and are super calm when they get back even though they lived more years in Narnia then in the real world??? They just smiled and said the professor wouldn't believe them if they told him.

What doesn‘t make sense to me: Why doesn‘t Aslan let them live in Narnia for a lifetime, until they grow old? Virtually zero time would pass in their own world. Is it because living in Narnia for that long would make them forget about their own world too much? I mean it didn‘t when they were there for 15 years.

They had to learn their lessons and move on into the real world :) It's like the idea of staying a child. When we grow older, life must always go on. Sure they technically could've stayed in Narnia, but there would have been no purpose for it and no benefit to them or the world of Narnia. Life had it's natural occurrence and they had to continue their faith into the real world. That's my theory.

So what about them having to go back to their own world? Why didn‘t the first queen and king and their children have to go back to our world? Why didn’t Aslan reward the Pevensies for their deeds by making them live one lifetime there, just like the kings and queens before them did, if only a week or less would pass in their own world? Lewis kinda contradicts himself there. 😅

About the Telmarines, they came into Narnia because of some portal that they accidentally entered. They weren't called to Narnia for some mission, so it's different.

As Ms Molly replied, it is likely he is dead by this time. There was a point earlier in the movie that sort of hit me hard regarding Mr Tumnus. They were in a cave of sorts and there were carvings on the wall. I’m not sure that even the Pevensies noticed it, but there was a carving of Mr Tumnus with his umbrella, standing next to the lamppost…almost implying that he was there looking for/waiting for Lucy. His friend, along with her siblings, just suddenly disappeared from Narnia at the end of Lion, Witch, and the Wardrobe, and from Mr Tumnus’ perspective, it’s like not only did they disappear, but he never got to say goodbye. They were just gone, no closure for him, and no real explanation. It’s like he just stood there at the lamppost…waiting…and she never came back 😞
