Guys it's not blood it's henna. I know because my family applies henna as it's a tradition here in North Sudan. Blood doesn't stay red for long, as it dries it goes black. if it was blood, it would've been black because blood dries within minutes. Edit: Henna is a plant-based paste that contains a strongly oxidizing chemical that can change the pigment of the skin. It's really common for it to be applied on the nails or on arms, hands, or feet.

For everyone commenting on the person’s thumbs, it’s just henna so calm down they’re okay. Ps Henna is a paste-like substance that people apply and make different patterns on their skin and stuff, so that once it’s washed out it’s like a temporary tattoo and stays for a week or so. Also it’s part of my culture and yes they usually also put it on their thumbs and nails because I’ve seen my cousins apply it like that.

Guys, They are fine. they apply something called "henna." Lots of people put it on their nails. Its not blood. Edit: They trim their nails to be flat like that, It helps with playing it.
