@@prashansakaushal42 God can acknowledge the works, but reject the person. God can reject both the man and his works. God can accept the man, but reject his works. I left my last job, thinking that I was called to be a teacher. But in my first year at uni as a mature student, I was due to begin work shadowing at a local school. I was all set, and looked forward to starting, when the school rang me to say that the session was cancelled. No explanation was given and I never heard from them again. After that, I just lost my desire to go into the teaching profession. I carried on through my studies though, but struggled through, finally passing my degree. Midway, I got a job in retail and spoke to a customer about my Christian faith and the struggles I endured. He came back to the shop and told me that I was the only Christian he'd met that shared his faith so openly. It was then that it began to dawn on me that God did not call me to teach in a classroom, but to represent Him in the workplace and serve others there. I also realised that the Lord was the one who closed the doors to the teaching profession and that no amount of prayer or pleading would open them! I learned my lesson, that what God shuts no one can open, and what He opens no one can shut. When God opens doors for you, you will know and He will make the way to fulfil your true calling.

What about Christians in ordinary jobs, who are serving the public who are in situations where they cannot preach, witness or do missions in the classical sense? Can we influence persons for the Kingdom in those positions?
@tonityndall45323 жыл бұрын
@@evertonporter7887 Absolutely!! It has taken me a long time to come to this realization, I had no background in the faith at all when I was saved 12 years ago, and I knew I wanted to live for Him and see others come to Him but didn’t have an understanding of doing that in just any career. He has taught me that “preaching the Gospel” and “witnessing” is not just in the sense of preaching with words to a congregation rather it is just living it out in front of others in whatever role we are in. For instance in 2013 I took a job as a 911 dispatcher and I had a coworker who was very wounded, very angry, cynical and guarded. She trusted no one, was close to no one and for three years working 12 hour shifts with her we became best friends and I never preached at her. She just saw the difference in me from others and in January 2018 she called me to find out where I went to church and what time did she need to be there. Ever since she has been completely on fire for God, as is her husband and her mom now. If you have the fruits of the Spirit (peace, love, joy, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, meekness and self-control) in whatever job you do, people around you will take notice and doors will open for you to share why you are that way. Hope this helped!

How do you achieve the full reward?
@gardenjoy52237 жыл бұрын
Hi Moses, I'd say by loving God with all of your heart, soul, might and strength and your neighbor as yourself. That'll keep you busy for life. And joyful in the Lord and mourning with Him and totally fulfilled, etc. Coming so close to Him, delighting so much in Him, He will be able to show you what specific things He has prepared for you to walk in as well. Go run your race at His very side.

Only Jesus has ever received the full, 100% reward in Heaven as King Of Kings, Lord Of Lords. He will have No equal! There will be NOBODY among the redeemed in Heaven who will receive the same level of reward as Jesus Christ. We should all work for the maximum reward, but realise that when we are rewarded, we will NOT have the same authority as Jesus! We will always be UNDER His Authority.

"Many will compete in the Olympic Marathon, but only a few will get the medals! But only one runner will get gold. The rest will be grateful just for crossing the finishing line and completing the race!" To be honest, I believe only a FEW will end up with the highest possible rewards in heaven and will be working with Jesus directly, for only a few will have totally given all their lives to Jesus 100 percent in all of history. They will be in the top flight and will have proven themselves worthy of those big rewards.

I think the point we all really need to focus on is knowing God as intimately as we can, when we read His Word, meditate on that Word, learn His character, His heart and learn to discern His voice, then He reveals what He is calling us to. Knowing Him and loving Him makes us want to be like Him and love people like He does us, when we do that I can promise you that you will walk in your calling and you will definitely reach those souls. And you are absolutely right, I’m proof that God will place us in careers for a season and when His mission is complete He will move you. He may call some to remain their whole career in one place but I know many who are not. I could say sooo much more just from my personal experience from a lot of trial and error but I’d be typing for hours!

What is the use of fools braying judgment about men of God who are actually doing anything? Instead of judging someone eles's works, exceed them. By a factor of one billion fold. Then get back to us. Until then, shut up.
@Hebrew42Day6 жыл бұрын
I like Bevere but he's wrong on dividing Christ this way. There is one judgment, and that judgment determines if you receive eternal life or not. Romans 2:6-11, gal 6:7-10 from Paul makes this clear. And you will be judged for your righteousness. 1 Co 6:9-10, and Gal 5:19-21. That's also written to believers, telling them if they sin they won't inherit the kingdom of God. The full reward is eternal life, the great loss is hell look at the next two verses. The point of being saved in that verse is right now. That they can turn from their sin to repentance and holiness. 2 Co 7:9-10

Hi I rather like the argument you've raised but why don't you look at the 10 virgins. They were ALL virgins remember? Except, 5 wise and 5 foolish. I see it this way... the wise will adhere and give careful thoughts to our ways...
@Hebrew42Day6 жыл бұрын
@@annabananaac40 that parable is warning us of the same judgment Rev 22:11-16 is the same judgement as rev 21:7-8 The unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God. Whether you're a Christian left outside the gates, or a scoffer left outside the gates. The doctrine of a separate rewards judgment is a prosperity gospel for heaven.

Elwood M. Buel Each one's work will become manifest, for the Day will disclose it, because it will be revealed by fire, and the fire will test what sort of work each one has done. If the work that anyone has built on the foundation survives, he will receive a reward. If anyone's work is burned up, he will suffer loss, though he himself will be saved, but only as through fire.. 1 Corinthians 3/13-15 His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant.
