“Believer” // TECHNOBLADE Dream SMP Animatic

Technoblade has made an astoundingly well-crafted (heh) character within the dream smp. He is one of the most well-developed and empathetic characters in the server, and he’s such a unique person to boot that it just adds to the character.
While maybe not the most unique song choice, I think “believer” fits techno’s story leading up to doomsday extremely well. He’s put his trust in others time and time again, only to be left on the floor when he’s no longer of use. He has done his damnedest to do what he thinks is right from the beginning, but the only way people will listen to him is when he’s swinging his sword at them.
He is a firm believer in the language of violence. A quote from his character directly is “the only universal language in this world is violence”, and everything he has experienced has only strengthened his viewpoint. President corrupting people and the country he’s in charge of? Kill him. Friends throwing you aside to pursue their own power? Kill them and blow stuff up.
Then techno tries to put his viewpoint to the test. No violence, no matter how much he feels like the voices want it.
And then his philosophy is only proven right. The people decide the only thing they want from techno is revenge. Bloody, bloody revenge. So what should one such as techno do when someone won’t let them walk away? Kill them. Kill them dead.
And so, when the first person one’s been able to overcome a bloody past with has turned their back. When people show they are incapable of changing on their own...what does one do?
Kill them, kill them, kill them ALL. Take the last people you trust, and leave nothing.
And thus the syndicate was formed. A belief built on silent violence. Because if no one’s willing to listen to you talk, then just get to the point.
I would also like to take a moment to appreciate all of the art in this video. None of it is mine. I made the tribute, yes, but all of this beautiful artwork was made by several incredibly talented artists and I can’t help but feel guilty when making videos using them. Because they're quite simply not mine, and I’m only allowed to use them because of youtube’s policies as far as I'm aware. The technoblade and DSMP community is incredibly talented and artistically inclined, and have inspired so many.
I’ve always been looking for a sort of “all encompassing” animatic of techno’s character just laying waste to everyone and going through his story. And after finding so many bits and pieces of it I just wanted to finally fill that void and bring all the pieces I’d seen together to create this spectacle. So that’s why I made this.

I love how no matter who makes the animation, Technoblade is depicted as an unstoppable God, with his only limits being others.

He hasn't fallen in battle at any point in the Dream SMP to my knowledge and has successfully fought against far superior numbers. Often he will finish duels with well over half health. There is a reason he is feared. That said, he is a prudent fighter who will disengage if his situation calls for it and will always strive to have the best equipment and potions. On Doomsday he often needed to break contact to heal and re-buff himself, but he had a near inexhaustible number of golden apples, potions, and the like. He even had a stack of xp potions in his ender chest which allowed him to repair his mending armor. He definitely avoids fights where he's greatly outnumbered if he hasn't prepared for them. He isn't an unstoppable god, but it can definitely feel that way, even when he has a numeric disadvantage.

It's definitely interesting, more bloodshed and violence than I anticipated, but interesting nonetheless. Shows the violent and unstoppable side to Technoblade which I like. But I do think the "Stronger" Tribute appeals to me more, as I feel like I can be inspired and strive to be like Technoblade. Nothing wrong with either, just prefer one to the other.
