Please pray for my son battling drug addiction, he's not saved. My oldest daughter hasn't spoken to me for years and turned against God when teenager, personality disorder too. My other daughter is a believer, as I am. I live alone and pray daily for them and my heart is heavy for the current state of world but I know that God will never fail us. Make amends with your oldest daughter and build a stronger relationship with your son. If your son is battling drug attention be active in his life and make sure he gets the help he needs. Prayer is great but you have to be proactive too.

A mother’s prayers go further than you may feel they do. I always know when my mother is praying for me and her prayers were persistent and effective even though they took a couple of years for her to see them answered so be encouraged, the Lord never stops working.

He believes the historical accuracy of a man named Jesus existing, but he thinks he was more of a Guru and not the son of God. I try to spread the gospel to him. I don't intend to minimize the concern you have for family. Consider this: 300,000 - 400,000 children go from not being accountable for sin to being account able for sin every day. This is referred to as the Age of Accountability. Children are born with sin, but God will not hold them responsible for it until an age that varies with each child. Making JESUS KNOWN. Trying living in the world of reality and not the fairy tale world you occupy. The rapture is a religious invention. It is not real. Like the Tooth Fairy and the Easter Bunny. It was invented by a man named John Darby. 2. The fact that John Nelson Darby invented the pre-tribulation rapture doctrine around 1830 AD is unquestionably true. All attempts to find evidence of this wild doctrine before 1830 have failed, with a single exception: Morgan Edwards wrote a short essay as a college paper for Bristol Baptist College in Bristol England in 1744 where he confused the second coming with the first resurrection of Revelation 20 and described a "pre-tribulation" rapture. However Edwards ideas, which he admitted were brand new and never before taught, had no influence in the modern population of the false doctrine. That prize to goes to Darby. 3. Prior to 1830, no church taught it in their creed, catechism or statement of faith. 4. Darby has had a profound impact on religion today, since Darby's "secret rapture" false doctrine has infected most conservative, evangelical churches. While the official creeds and statements of faith of many churches either reject or are silent about Rapture, neither do they openly condemn this doctrine of a demon from the pulpit. 5. While not all dispensationalists believe in the Rapture. All those who teach the Rapture also believe in premillennialism. Both groups use Israel's modern statehood status of 1948 to be a beginning of a countdown to the end. 6. All premillennialists, rapturists and dispensationalists alive today believe the Bible reveals the general era of when Christ will return. The date setters of the 1800's (Seventh-day Adventists who are date setting premillennialists who reject the rapture, Jehovah's Witnesses who have set many dates) based their predictions upon speculative arrangements of numbers and chronologies in the Bible. Today's date setters without exception wrongly believe that Israel gaining state hood in 1948 fulfilled Bible prophecy and that Christ would return within one generation.

We are waiting for two separate events. Interesting quote you put in there: Revelation 22:20 NKJV - He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.” Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus! So why did John use that phrase? Because the entirety of John's revelation of Jesus Christ detailed a laundry list of conditions and the state of the world that is to proceed His return. There is no hidden or quiet rapture - there is only the single event of Christ's return and our being gathered to Him in the clouds. When John uses the phrase "even so" to Jesus' statement that He's coming quickly, you can almost hear the pause he had - there's a ton of stuff that has to happen! John didn't believe in the imminent return of Christ, which is exactly why he responded to Jesus with "even so". This isn't definitive and certainly doesn't change John's strong affirmation to Jesus' words. I just think it's interesting that you affirm the content of the video and quote a verse that suggests quite the opposite.

Amen. I was saved in 1974 and lived for the Lord for maybe about a year and a half with the holy spirit, but I was 21 at a secular liberal college and I wanted my sex, drugs and rock'n'roll. The Holy Spirit was gone for a long time, and I became a drug addict. Exactly forty years later in 2016, I was blessed and filled with the Holy Spirit, and today I am clean and sober and reading scripture and living for the Lord today. Because I am a doubting Thomas, I feel I need to read Christian Apologetics, but its been a blessing, especially Lee Strobel's The Case for Christ. Praise Jesus the Messiah!

In the prophetic book of Revelation (which literally means UNVEILING), we see a group described as "24 Elders" in heaven BEFORE Jesus opens the first seal (Rev. 4 & 5). Now I hear people try to say that the 24 Elders are simply the 12 original Apostles/Disciples of the Lord and the 12 Original sons of Jacob from where the 12 Tribes of Israel came from.... Two scriptural facts debunk that: 1.) The Disciples were Jews, NOT out of every kindred, tongue, people and nation....the sons of Jacob (Jacob was Isaac’s son, Isaac was Abraham’s son) were Hebrew, as the Bible makes clear that Abraham was called a Hebrew in Genesis 14:13, and even Joseph-one of the 12 Tribes was also referred to as a Hebrew in Genesis 39:14. 2.) The Bible states clearly that NO ONE but Jesus has ascended up to heaven but He that came from heaven; and Hebrews 11 makes clear that even those of Old Testament times to whom the promises were made (Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, etc. SHALL NOT be made perfect without us (Church). Romans 8 states that we shall be GLORIFIED TOGETHER. So keep that in mind when you read that there is a group in heaven clothed in white raiment (glorified), crowned and seated on the throne at rest; singing about being redeemed by Jesus blood out of every kindred, tongue, people and nation. The Jewish apostle and 12 Sons of Jacob were NOT “out of every kindred, tongue people and nation". We cannot ignore that the group in Revelation 4 & 5 describes themselves as "out of every kindred, tongue, people and nation" which has ALWAYS been a LARGE group in scripture. An OVERCOMER is a born again believer in Christ. The 24 Elders in Rev. 4 & 5 sing in the FIRST PERSON PLURAL (we, our, us) even in the original manuscripts; and they describe themselves as REDEEMED BY JESUS BLOOD, OUT OF EVERY KINDRED, TONGUE, PEOPLE AND NATION; They also sing about being made KINGS AND PRIESTS and about REIGNING. (All exclusively promised ONLY to the Church). Now, what is the original Greek word translated to "ELDER" in the Original language and it's meaning? Therefore an "Elder" is a mature person having experience to judge. Remember that as we grow in Christ we go from milk to meat in our understanding. WHO is promised to JUDGE WITH CHRIST according to the word? 1 Corinthians 6:2 (KJV) 2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? ..... THE FAITHFUL CHURCH shall be in heaven, joint heirs with Christ BEFORE Jesus opens that first seal. Then the Antichrist CONFIRMS THE COVENANT WITH MANY (which begins that 7 year period that this Antichrist figure will break-3 1/2 years AFTER he confirms it).... The falling away is speaking of that great departure of the HE that now letters, which shall be taken out of the way AND THEN that wicked will be revealed. Yes you can be healed in Jesus name. And this is for you. You must be converted. A sinner needs to obey the gospel of Jesus Christ. Told me and nurses told me they have seen people dye horribly not a good sign so just pray that god makes away or let someone come and talk to them. rily51day sorry but there’s not a “U turn” rapture, the true church is gone at the beginning of revelation 4 and not mentioned until revelation 19. Sorry. He's off. He says the next event is the rapture. In 2 Thessalonians, they thought they had entered the day of the Lord. Paul tells them that they (the believers before him would see it) will not see that day until the man of lawlessness is revealed and sits in the temple and calls himself God (2 Thess 2:1-4). For that to happen, you have to go to Daniel 9 and, chronologically, a seven year peace treaty has to happen with Israel. In addition, there will be a great falling away of believers (2 Thess 2:3). Believers are not prepared to handle the adversity to come. Jesus warned us what was to come, Paul warned us what was to come, Daniel, Ezekiel, Joel, all warned us... US... what to look for. I think we will remember and have things we regret, and sorrow for those lost souls we loved. Brothers and sisters, there are several ways to understand eschatology. Did the Christians burned to death, skinned alive, fed to animals, etc. endure great tribulation? Did they endure “antichrists” (I John 2.18)? Do we believe that millions of Christians died for their faith but they did not face a tribulation period, that it’s only a real tribulation period when WE are the ones who could face persecution? Christ is coming and we can take great joy in that, He will judge this world and create a new heavens and new earth for his people to live with him forever. In the meantime, we may very well be called to suffering and martyrdom, as generations of our brothers and sisters suffered for the glory of Christ and the spread of his Gospel. The relative freedom from persecution American Christians have experienced for the past couple hundred years is not the norm in history, read Acts, Fox’s book of Martyrs, or just current reports from the Middle East or China. If you are banking on a “pre or mid trib rapture,” as your hope, please read your Bibles carefully and ask if you are imposing your own framework on the text. I grew up assuming one form of eschatology, and later learned there are at least 3 major views held today, broadly speaking, pre-millennial, post-millennial and a-millennial. Christians in each “camp” point to scriptures to support their beliefs, I am simply encouraging fellow believers to go to the Bible and let it speak for itself, in its context and entirety, and try not to impose your traditions on it. Eschatology should not divide believers, but it does effect how we view the world, our witness, and our time in history. Blessings to you all and peace of Christ.

The Pre-Trib Rapture is very close now. The church is NOT destined for God's wrath during tribulation. I hope the church is being prepared to go through the tribulation. God does not say we will be spared the tribulation, only the wrath of God, which happens when we are “caught up” in the air with Christ at his second coming. Matthew 24.

Jesus took the wrath of the Father over sin on himself. His wrath is what we are saved from. On the cross Jesus said it is finished. The wrath of GOD was satisfied. Only those who accept this gift from Jesus will be saved from this wrath. You accept this free gift by asking Jesus for it. Then turning away from living a sinful life. GOD is good. He does not want anyone to perish. He calls those who accept this gift home and then pours out his wrath on those who choose to live in rebellion.

The rapture could have happened in the last pandemic but it didn't. It could happen today or in the next century or the next 2000 years.
