Same here. I was starting to get weepy but when he started to cry, I started crying. Seeing her brother singing the Carols was spectacular and I think this was a magnificent memorial to a outstanding woman.

Thank you for posting this beautiful piece. We didn't get to see this in England which is sad as she was such was person here for both her acting and her brave fight with cancer. The sad thing is had this show not got the logie which I read about on back to the bay I would never have experienced such a motivating story. I myself have been off work with a serious illness for 5 years but I am not dying and after watching this it has put everything into place for me. Thank you with all my heart.

What an inspiring, graceful and courageous woman. Her dignity, humour and love for everyone else, above herself, showed why Rove and all of Australia fell in love with her. Belinda was taken away far too young by cancer. Lets pray that there is a cure sooner than later so we don't lose yet another angel. Keep singing from the heavens dear Belinda. We miss and love your gorgeous and down to earth spirit.

It's now 2021 and with Covid restrictions here in the UK being relaxed in a matter of hours, it may well be that I'll be spending less time sitting on my butt watching YT videos. It seems fitting, then, that one of the last ones before "Freedom Day" is the most affecting. I started watching 'H&A' quite early on and Belinda soon became one of my 'Faves'. Time moved on and circumstances dictated that I lost contact with the show. So much so that only by being alerted to this video did I realise that she had been gone for so long. Watching videos like this is what YT is all about. It brings home how much a semi-forgotten figure can be brought back into your consciousness long after their lives have been, so tragically, cut short. Their lives and the way they lived them can inspire you to do things you'd never think likely. This 'package' shows how much she embraced life and enriched others with her talent. And that is why I have just bought "So I Am"....

Wow. Such a brave, courageous way to act given that she was told she was going to have a short life. We are all only here for a finite time but she managed to pack so much in in such a short time. The beautiful thing is she was surrounded by the people who she truly loved and they loved her. No bullshit. No drama. Just one charismatic girl making the most of life. A good lesson for us all. Thanks for the inspiration Belinda Emmett.

If Rove was SO much in love with her.. then why did it take him so long to propose and more or less waited until she was so frail ? He was with that Tasma only 5 mths after his wife's death and didn't even show her enough respect to at-least wait 4 her 1st yr death anniversary. I don't like him or that Tasma 1 iota

@pomegranateish That is total bull**** it was totally the other way around. Maybe because you spent your youth watching Rove, sitting on a couch, dulling your mind. Whilst I spent mine, doing exactly the same thing, but watching Home & Away.

90% of Belinda's fame came from her relationship with Rove and from having cancer.

Oh for goodness sake axlfoleyfanatic - love doesn't necessarily equal marriage. Grow up. It's 2012.
