My era was the '60s and '70s. I was 31 when this came out. But I have to admit that there was an incredible amount of excellent pop in the '80s and this is a prime example. @@uknowmyname007 That's easy to answer. High budget movies were shot on expensive film of great quality but the TVs we watched them on (and VHS playback for example) had its limitations. As tech advanced they could release the actual quality of the source material in HD and higher - same goes for certain high budget music videos too, like this one.
