I did all my initial training in this helicopter and soloed in it. Rhône TX It had a different registration number but I will never forget serial number 666. IF it ever pops up for sale I’ll take it. Special bird.

Fell in love with Bells since Whirlybirds. Blades and engine noise, yes! As long as there is not a muffler to remove the classic throaty sound!

The 47? Or the Huey. The 47? Or the Huey. I just can't decide which is my favorite. One thing for sure, you can't mistake the iconic sound of either. PS, my favorite 47 is the G model which is rarely seen nowadays.

600 bx an hour w instructor to operate .. it’s ridiculous not to mention owners expense main etc. you must work with cartel hour cocaine to afford the damn thing. Thank to corupt FAA policies regulating these old classic in the name of safety
