The tube behind the 5y3 doesn't need to be there. Just like the photoelectric tube on the near right that you took out.

I know that the 3rd 6V6 is not involved in the audio path for the guitar's signal, but I leave it there for another reason. I like the natural compression of vintage tube amps, and this characteristic is largely a result of the power supply not being able to keep up with instantaneous current demands. I leave the 6V6 there just to tax the power supply! Think of it as the opposite of going dual rectifier/triple rectifier/solid-state rectifier.
