I've always had a soft spot for these bells, and they are much improved with the new rope guide. A wooden clapper in the tenor would, I think, make them even better but they sound quite decent for their age and are one of the easiest going tens I know

I too am very fond of them. I agree they sound good as a classic 10, and yeah they go & handle very well.

I guess this is an example of how much accurate striking improves the bells, even more when they are old and being the microphone closer to the tenors.
