Bell SRT Modular Helmet Review at SpeedAddicts.com

The BEST, most comfortable helmet I've ever had. The ONLY issue I have is, I find it damn near impossible to get the shield/lenses streakless clean. Best method I've found is washing both the drop down inner shield and visor with Dawn soap and blowing off the water with an air compressor. I've never had this problem with any other helmet. Bell even sent two additional visors, and that didn't solve the problem. I then bought another, same problem. My LS2 for example, I do a quick spray with windex and wipe and I'm good to go. Never took the visor off the helmet in two years. This helmet has been so comfortable, in 50 years riding I've not owned one even close. Also went with the Cardo freecom 2x. Super simple to mount but a bit of a learning curve for me getting to understand how to use it.

Correction Dude! Bell EVO Revolver is also a modular helmet. And I believe it is still made. though it does not come in 3XL so I bought a Bell SRT, but I still own me 2XL Bell Revolver (very nice helmet)

Which helmet do you recommend for people wearing glasses for naked bikes

If you main points to hit are good acoustic insulation and comfortability, I'd say go with a Neotec II or Schuberth C5. The SRT might not have the bell and whistles as the Shoei and Schuberth but its still a great helmet, thanks for watching!

Why not compare the weight to other modular helmets instead of saying “Modular’s are heavier” than non-modular. It would help to know comparable weight.

The Bell SRT Modular weighs in at 3.89 lbs in a size medium. This rather light for this category. For comparison the Shoei Neotec II is just over 4lbs. Most modular helmets are in the 4-5 lbs. Hopefully this information is helpful. Thanks for watching!

Noise or lack there of is highly subjective. Different riders will report entirely difference feedback on the same exact helmet. In order to keep your helmet as quiet as possible it's important to get a snug fit. We'll let the community chime in her about their experience with the SRT modular when it comes to noise.
