That was old timey fun watching ! I love bell targets... would love to see some closeups of the bell target to see how it is put together. I have made a bunch of outdoor bell targets using "alarm" type bells in various diameters (3", 4", 6", and 10") using steel right angle plate with various diameter holes in the face plate... some have more than one size hole... most are 1/4" thick steel, except for my 10" bell that has a 3/8" thick plate due to the larger height and depth of the plate angle. I am planning to make an indoor one, and have some ideas drawn up.

I only put the bell behind so I knew if I was wasting my time trying. Most bell targets mount the bell sideways to the hole Here's a closeup of a standard indoor one: kzbin.info/www/bejne/noe8n5Vqm6mti5Y They usually have a 3/8'' hole shot from 6-8 yds. scoring rings and non drying paint (titanium oxide powder mixed with oil) so you can see where you hit, and paint over the marks for the next round. It's harder than it sounds! Cheers.

Great video; your Britannia is in remarkable condition for its age. They are quite rare here in Canada. I have only ever seen one for sale and decided it was too much money. Today, I regret that decision.

Exactly what happened to me when I tried my mates, now I have them too……I also find the Mk2 Service is a good shooter, took some fettling though

I have BSA like that but i dont know the type, i see BSA Standart...but different when i search in another youtube or google..im 43 old and i have this gun from my grandfather his born 1928

You can find out from the serial number which model it is. Look up ‘Vintage BSA/Lincoln Jeffries serial numbers’ and you find a list on the vintage airgun gallery website.

What pellets seem to work best for your light pattern?

I use JSB express 4.52 7.87gr. They seem to work well in nearly all my vintage rifles.
