I think what happened is that she must've told her surgeon(s) that her goal was a model's face and they probably concluded that Carla's was a good point of reference based on B's natural bone structure. I don't feel like it was ever on purpose that Bella ended up looking like Carla. To me, a lot of the elements that make Bella look like Carla aren't ones she has or was able to change. Yes of course there are the lip fillers nose jobs cheeks etc. but without her natural face proportions, like the distance between her eyes, the distance between her nose and mouth, her nose length, forehead height etc. I really don't think the resemblance would be that noticeable. -I hope nobody got a seizure from reading that, because it's hard to explain so sorry in advance:)

I think her mother wanted her to change her look to look more like a super model and used Carla as a reference and the surgeon was like “oh, yeah I see it! Easy changes.” It’s different if it’s your actual face (Carla) and it’s another looking like a copy cat and your face looks stretched and like you can’t move it just so you can resemble another person. With the changes made to her face, she will not age well. It’s one thing if your natural features age and it’s another when you have an altered face age.

I’m just sayin people hate on certain celebs like Kylie Jenner for getting work done but dead silent when it comes to Bella, who’s paid for her appearance. We push for natural bodies, but just wait ten years and we’ll be pushing for natural faces too. Hopefully one day the fashion industry will evolve to the point where plastic surgery for models is like steroids for athletes, and jobs are based on skill and character. We need natural representation for that industry to be healthy.

I also think that we should push for diversity of facial features just like we push for diverse bodies and diversity in terms of race. It seems like even women of colour have to have European features (or have features close enough to the white centric standard) and no ethnic features. Black girls can have wider noses, but not toooo wide; they can have dark skin but only if they have a smaller nose to make up for their skin being sooo dark 😠 White girls with features that don’t fit the aesthetic are ignored too. The thing is, from reading comments from social media, people actually absorb the idea that only small noses (for example) are beautiful. I remember when I said I thought Bella looked better before surgery and someone jumped on me and was like WELL THATS JUST YOU HER NOSE WAS MASSIVE - like, no it wasn’t massive, it was just bigger than what is considered ideal in Hollywood. We have a choice to either accept beauty standards or reject them. People always bring up how it’s alllll down to nature 🙄and we are wired to be fixated with beauty. Sorry, but this fixation we have is NOT NATURAL. I hate the nature argument because nurture is a massive reason for societies current state. We have been spoon fed ideas about beauty since our time on earth. I’m surprised people can still stomach it, especially when they get past their teens like me. How about we refuse to open our mouths for feeding say “I don’t want anymore” so we can start seeing others as the sacred living, breathing beings they are?

This is so biased , as a french girl, i need to state some stuff. - bella couldn't stole carla"s face when in the 90's she went under the knife and did many time since. - bella didn't choose carla's feature but did her face piece by piece and over the years you see how she did so and why she didn't did it, so didn't stole a face but addapted new face to be balanced. It might sound " crazy" but people who do surgery tend to look alike. ( look at insta girl) - surgeron have typical shape and procedure that they do so many people end up with the same nose, and there actually not a lot of surgeron who try to keep you're natural lookand face balance. - When you get your cheek reduce, eyes lifted and nose job, you will end up looking like a lot of model who have these features. Bella look even more like christy than Carla.(I think she was inspired by the typical model look and wanted to have high cheekbone and a fears look) - Carla's 90's eyes aren't snatched nor intense, but she does with deep makeup, so weirldy picture that are used to compare them are carla with smoky eyes - Bella's nose was done to get ride of her bump and then get it straight, so if you look at the girl bella's is flat compare to carla's - The picture comparing the girls are only in black and white, because other wise carla feature aren't as strinking as bella's. They have different beauty , the only pictures in color are form the 2010's after carla new surgery, and now she has big cheek and snatched eyes. I will always point out celebrities surgery, because we shouldn't grow with unarchivable beauty standards, but we shouldn't bring out false accusation, that come from a unbiase source, rumors and an uncanny look alike .

I've been knew that she had those face altercations but not very much. I'd believed the surgery did was only to enhanced the mostly given that she's born to have those features installed. When I saw her 1st runway (by Desigual) back in 2104, immediately flashing cross my mind was Giselle Bunchen & Carla Bruni if they had a daughter. Because they're all shared the same those specific typeface.

i mean it’s pretty obvious that she’s been insecure about her appearance since she was little, and from what i know about her mom, it definitely comes from that. her mom too this day upholds dangerous and toxic beauty standards, and i’m guessing that started early in bella and gigi’s life. i myself am palestinian and i completely understand what she meant when she said she wished she had kept the nose of her ancestors. we have semetic noses and i wanted a nose job for many years. she obviously started getting plastic surgery at a young age and i am fairly certain her mom was pushing it, or supportive of it at the very least, and just allowed these sad views to just grow in her over time.
