Large fashion houses are somewhat dominated by favouritism towards those who will give power and influence to the brand solely by name/externals rather than character, etc. There was a time when personality seemed to have a greater impact, especially when I think back to some of the "unconventional" models of the 90s. The fashion industry has become more "Instagram-esque."
