This post is a little old but we just finished watching the first season of last of us on HBO. Bella does a fantastic job, and is a great actress. On the other hand. I was a bit taken back by bella vs. in Game Ellie. I played both the last of us and the last of us 2. I also watched the making of the game. Ashley johnson and troy baker who plays joel. Behind the scenes in the making of the game had me in tears. These two deserved an oscar for their performances. I guess I kinda wished they would've casted Ashley as Ellie because she literally lived it. Troy does great also but Pedro looks almost exactly like Joel, so theres that. I'm a little disappointed in Bella's casting but she fits Ellies character perfectly. Is what it is. Looking forward to season 2. And the release of Last of us 3!!

The game was basically a 20 hour long movie (in a good way), extremely moving and probably my favorite gaming experience of 2014 when it came out. In fact I'm so faithful to the characters that it's kinda off putting to see other people play the parts of these characters, especially when they kinda don't look like them. That being said, she seems really bright and super cool and from what I've seen and heard, they probably did an amazing job on this recreation. 4:28 that is actually extremely relatable, I remember playing the piano back then when I was 9/10 and I had the exact same fear, I didn't know what I was doing, it just felt natural to me and I thought that if I actually tried to do it "on purpose" it just wouldn't work out. I always thought it was just a weird thing to think about, but I am glad that I'm not the only one that got through it.
