This week Mixmag and Smirnoff Sound Collective's weekly live stream The Lab goes down under for only the second time. Powered by Void acoustics, The Lab SYD will showcase a mixture of the finest Australian talent with a combination of quality international stars passing through the city.
We're delighted to draft in Bella Sarris for her MixmagTV debut and there could be no better place to host her then in her hometown. Usually based between Berlin and Ibiza she's returned to Sydney for the Australian summer after another impeccable year which has seen her continue a residency at Richie Hawtin's Enter. as well as tINI's notorious party tINI & The Gang.
Her on-point bag which features a whole host of rolling and dubbed-out house and techno grooves ensured our support from the get go. She was one of our breakthrough Ibiza DJs of 2014, supported Apollonia at Mixmag Live and threw down a brilliant In Session for us this time last year.
She's just returned from a jam packed weekend which saw her play at both Subsonic Festival & Circoloco's first show in Australia for more than 2 years.

OMG, I never want go see this woman live!!! I won't be able to leave the venue. I'll get stuck shuffling and doing bounce movements FOREVER. The police are gonna have to arrest me. I'll be in jail dancing while everybody looking all mad and shit. But maybe my vibes might spread to them and they'll start dancing too. Or maybe someone will try to stab me. They won't be able to stab me though because I'll be moving everywhere. They'll probably have a heart attack trying to catch me.. Then I'll get out and on the way down the hall everybody will think I'm boasting about getting out while their still locked up but that won't be the case at all, it'll just be because of the House Music is still in me. I wouldn't expect them to understand because they can't see the situation from my perspective so they'll be yelling at me.. The police will think I'm dancing because I'm happy to get out but when they see that I'm still dancing to music that they can't hear outside the jail they'll be like, "This guy is crazy". Then I'll be sent to a mental institution. I'll be dancing in there too. They'll try to put a straight jacket on me but that'll be ok. Those things allow just enough movement for me to get my shoulder swinging on as well as a little bounce action... I'm gonna keep getting transferred from institution to institution until finally somebody decides to punish me with the Electric Chair. But guess what, I'm already used to the high voltage of the Electric Music so adding the chair voltage will make me dance even more. Bouncing harder, shuffling harder, etc.. Then eventually I'll be sent home and I'll get old and start having to take pills and stuff like that. But the pills won't work because I'll just keep sweating all the pills out within about an hour because the dancing. Then eventually I'll die of a heart attack, stroke, or something.. But then I'll be in Heaven still dancing. But while I'm still dancing BELLA SARRIS is going to be sentenced life in prison for 1st degree murder and conspiracy.. The conspiracy would be that she supposedly purposely played the music to kill and since it's music that a lot of people listen to, it'll seem as if she was trying to kill me subliminally... *Conclusion: I'M DEFINITELY GOING TO SEE BELLA SARRIS BELLA, PLEASE KILL ME!!!
