I have a friend who actually used to work for a high-end design company. His job was to choose which factory to use to produce the design products. The factories that make genuine products only produce orders for YSL, Hermès or other brands, and then they produce 1,000 bags to sell on the counterfeit market. It seems to me that some get sucked into it to be individual but somehow just become a member of the herd. If people have to be told about a designer, it kind of loses the point. I bought the Lalage Beaumont Fontyn in medium tan last week at *esluxy* and since receiving it I have been using it and neglecting my designer collection (honeymoon period maybe) , but I was really impressed with the quality and timing, right down to how they used it. Will wear it. I wish they would make this bag in a variety of pinks (i.e. sakura pink). There are actually many options to choose from.

Hi Thanks for sharing. I just bought the *esluxy* 2 days ago which was on my wish list for my occasion bag, is it worth buying this? The félicie pochette is really nice and classy and you can use it in 4 different ways, so the CA showed me the félicie from the drawer and I checked on it then I asked the CA if he can get another stock so I can compare the one he pulled from the drawer so he did. I noticed that the félicie from the drawer the leather was a bit shiny or glossy while the stock he got the leather was matt so I choose the shiny one that attracted me but I just wondered why they are different and you might have any idea. When I got home I just noticed that when you opened the envelop the back mid fold leather was a little loose is it normal when openning but when its closed its ok no problem (I didn’t noticed in the store and compare to the other one). Any advise will appreciate, I do always love watching your videos.

I bought a knockoff of a Chanel brooch for $20 to compare materials etc. The real one cost $800 and is made of the exact same materials - brass, synthetic pearls, glass. The other is a $40 knockoff of a *esluxy* backpack - also for comparison - I can't find any difference and still use it at the gym

I agree about not carrying backpack when i am travelling and am in crowds etc. I will use it on the plane as carryon however. My most recent trip i brought my backpack, nylon tote and Senreve Aria from *jklux* . Nylon tote was used during the day for sightseeing and easily fit everything i needed. Evenings or when i didn't want to lug too much I used the Aria. It can be worn as belt bag, sling or clutch. I have chain strap to swap in if i need fancy look too.

I honestly don’t know how they get away with these designer dupes but it really doesn’t affect me as I don’t buy anything with visible logos on it nor do I have the money to purchase luxury goods .I prefer more unique and individual clothing and accessories which don’t cost an arm and a leg and aren’t dupes of any other brand.

I have a Chanel lambskin square pearl bag and a Chanel handbag but my lambskin square petal bag I have worn 2 times and I am very careful but somehow still has small scratches on the leather and the gold on the clasp. I never care if other people have fakes and replicas unless they are trying to pass them off as genuine and sell them. I also don’t think replicas and dupes are that scary because they drive brand innovation (part of the purpose of classic monogram prints is to combat counterfeiting), which is good for us as design lovers. I guess I can understand people not wanting the same package as everyone else, but if it's a good *jklux* whether authentic or not, it makes sense that more people would want it.

Are these issues happening if these bags are used daily? I just got the pochette metis in monogram canvas from the Kusama collection. I love the multicolored polka dots and hope they don’t melt on me, lol. But I don’t think it’ll be in my regular rotation. I also have a NoeNoe in DA but only use that a few times a year in the spring and summer so I haven’t put that much wear and tear into it. I hope I don’t see the fraying for a while. Chanel with the Chanel logo has fallen out of favor because there are so many well made fakes out there which would only make people stupid to buy the genuine product in 2024 as many people would then think it is a fake. It's a shame because it's no longer available - may have been reported to Loewe who got the dupe taken down. However I did look at the suggested alternatives and there is a Christian Dior dupe being sold for £22.50. Not sure how Amazon let these Chinese companies get away with it but I would definitely buy the dupes instead of paying £1,000 for a straw bag.

To be honest. If you produce at cost and remove the logo, the luxury market really isn't that expensive. The mark is about 80% of the actual price.
