Beautiful 😍 stitch pattern, i had always been used to the British terminology but now most pattern are of American terminology. In the beginning it was confusing, so I bought a crochet book 📖 so that I can defringerate between the 2. British and American for refreshing the brain 🧠 when it becomes muddle at times.

Hi Sarah~Jayne.... I've bought the Athena Crochet Hooks & they're amongst my favourites to use & I'm currently using #6 hook, making a blanket using the block stitch pattern. Whilst crocheting the day away I was wondering if you & your team Bella Coco could introduce another set of Athena Crochet Hooks from size #7 upwards into your crochet society collection 💞

Hello, thankyou for your tutorials, they are wonderful. I have made the primrose stitch into a baby blanket using two colours which looks great (for a beginner), however being a beginner I’m not sure how to make the final row look like the first row, can you please help?
@bellacococrochet2 жыл бұрын
You're welcome, I'm happy to hear you like them! 😊 As long as you end on a row three repeat you should find the top of the blanket looks similar to the beginning. You can also work a border around the finished blanket to make it look more even - some of my favourites are detailed in my blog post here: bellacococrochet.com/my-favourite-crochet-borders/

It looks amazing! Is this stitch a yarn eater as I am really keen to make a blanket but I don’t want to buy too much yarn to complete it so would appreciate anyone’s thoughts :) Thanks for the video x

You're welcome! 😊 No, I wouldn't describe this stitch as a yarn eater.

Total beginner here, just made a blanket using one of your videos from years ago have now started this, my aunt never made it this easy when trying to teach me lol for this pattern how would you border it?
@bellacococrochet2 жыл бұрын
I'm glad you've found my tutorial helpful 😊 I would start by taking a look at my video on how to prepare to add a border here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/b2GXqHqwd9l_rbs which will give you a base to work any edging that you like. You can find some of my favourites in my blog post here: bellacococrochet.com/my-favourite-crochet-borders/ 😊

Lovely stitch and one I will try. I want to order your crochet hooks in green and would like a set in the pink too. I have looked but can’t see you selling them in the pink ? Do you sell in the pink?

Hi Sandra. The pink ones come in the essentials box xx

Do you sell patterns for items made with this stitch? If so where would I find them? I love the look of this stitch pattern. If no printed patterns are available how would I estimate the amount of yarn required to make an afghan or lap blanket?
@bellacococrochet2 жыл бұрын
Hi Susan I don't have any patterns using this stitch. The amount you would need would depend on the type of yarn you are using, your hook size and your personal tension. I would suggest that you do a swatch and then work it out from there :)

I'm going to try this again...slowly...I work in US terms and I kept mixing up the UK and US terms. I wish the terms were the same.. especially for a beginner.
@bellacococrochet Жыл бұрын
It is frustrating trying to figure out the different terminology between UK and US, maybe you could write it down to make it easier for you ? :)
@24deb24 Жыл бұрын
I did write it down. So that helps. A few times I wrote the UK term down and had to go over what I wrote to be sure I changed it to US. I few times I missed one so my work came out "wonky". But I caught it in enough time where I only had to pull out one row.
