Thank you. I just made one of these using a soft vinyl for the exterior for a fellow grandmother to make it look a bit sheek. I left off the outside pockets (except the side pockets). I took a chance and it worked out. Your video was a life saver.

I was altering a beautiful electric blue prom dress. I needed to put fray stop on a bit. I squeezed the bottle and the top came off and squirted glue all over the front of the dress. After I stopped screaming I ran to get the rubbing alcohol and carefully dabbed it all off. The customer never knew and I didn't have to buy her a new gown.

how much do you cut off the original pattern piece for the modified zipper gusset?

A seam roller is a priceless tool when it comes to creasing vinyl and waterproof canvas. Ones with a wooden wheel work best. Lori Holt (fabric, pattern and notions designer) has one that is amazing!

Is it absolutely necessary to use foam? What baby items need that much protection? 😆. I only have Decovil Light and heavy.

The foam also gives structure to the bag so that its not floppy

I should’ve followed your assembly techniques! 😣😭 I went exactly by Swoon directions; saggy dropped lining is BOTHERING me!!! 😩 I’ve worked too hard to end up with a saggy lining that I don’t like and don’t know how to fix.
