I was able to acquire a few things when I was retiring out and got 3 (new in box) Belleville issue desert boots with the Vibram soles. I work a lot in the woods on the homestead and will always recommend a Belleville product. I have not had any issues with the soles going apart or cracking. I put mink oil on mine every now and again to keep them water repellent.

Nice, yeah Belleville are some of the best quality for the price point, never had issues with mine either besides the black side-zip version duty boots having the zipper fail (expected) after 5 years.

They're pretty light for this variant of them in the model, Belleville doesn't have a weight listed for them though. Nope no composite or steel toe in them so watch your piggies, but they're super comfortable.
