I had and adored this LP of Beverly's. I still say: she was unique....one of my "two top favorites"..... she could convey fragility, delicacy, pathos as NONE other I have ever heard. Love her to death.

Ah! Elane, you speak my language fluently! Our Beverly was one of a kind and sadly I don't think we'll ever hear anyone come near to her in our lifetimes.

I think that these recordings are some of the very best Sills ever made. Limpid beautiful tones and lines, remarkable agility. None of the pushed histrionics of later years.
