Mariella Devia sings beautifully here, she's 54 and still in her prime. I'm commenting here on Sonia Ganassi's Romeo, so passionate and energetic. Last night I watched a video of her singing it at La Fenice in 2015; the passage of years haven't dampened her ardour one bit.

Sia la Devia che la Ganassi sono bravissime. La Devia, meravigliosa, è stata sicuramente la migliore belcantista dopo gli anni in cui hanno dominato Caballé e Scotto ('60 e '70). Cosa vuol dire grande belcantista si capisce quando si confronta il suo canto con quello della Netrebko che sicuramente è un grande soprano ma come belcantista di livello inferiore. In questa rappresentazione i suoi pianissimi, i suoi acuti sempre centrati e cristallini e l'accento ne fanno una soprano che merita un posto nell'olimpo delle grandissime della seconda metà del '900. Gli uomini di questa recita da sorvolare

Étonnant dans le meilleur sens du terme , j' aimé beaucoup, Sonia est toujours magninique, même si ce rôle ne mets pas en valeur son charme naturel comme dans cerenetola, la mise en scène est juste et noble, certains metteurs en scène parachroniques devrait prendre exemple

Oh combien vous avez raison, j'ai jeté un coup d’œil sur la production de Barcelone, le metteur en scène un certain Vincent Boussard est à fuir en prenant ses jambes à son cou! Le rideau se lève sur un chœur en chapeau haut de forme et au dessus de leurs têtes il y a des selles de cheval; allez savoir pourquoi même Shakespeare interrogé avec une voyante diplômée en études théâtrales comme le metteur en scène a été incapable de me l'expliquer!!!!!LOL!
