How do you feel about "hand checking" on possession? The thing Qel keeps complaining about. Because what comes to mind to counter that is pull a move from Chris Paul. Trap the arm into a foul and shoot. It might be boring basketball, but it will get you to the line every time and it gets the defense off you to drive in later plays. I think hand checking is smart. It gives you a clue of what the intent is of the offense, as long as you let go when they go to make a move.

I thought what Moon did was great. Off the jump, just shows qel that shot and then on defense he was physical. Yeah hand checking mightve played a huge factor. But a player as smart as qel should've seen it and did something about it. He could've easily countered it as you said by drawing fouls. And he's a good shooter that if moon bites he could've gotten 2-3 and1s from 3🤷 Overall qel was overwhelmed by moon's shooting, shot creation and defense.

@jjcometa9333 I agree it was more than smart on Moon to play that way. If Qel doesn't adjust, play that way. They're both geniuses on the court. I just feel like maybe half way through the game instead of adjusting, Qel was trying to prove the hand checking was the factor. Because he wasn't really pressing Moon but a few times. Also Moon was just sitting on a lot of them.

Yall really sittin on here with the assumption that b ellis lost his 1v1 before it even surfaces the internet.. but in my opinion, i believe b ellis mightve actually took it because no shade to will, hes a great basketball player, but if im comparing skillset, size, speed, etc. B ellis almost has a slightly more advantage given his size and the way he's able to create shot opportunities. Besides the first time B ellis and will played, B was up on the score board alot over Will b4 he made some minor mistakes and couldve EASILY won that game. and best believe in rematches, most people don't make the same mistakes. I believe B ellis especially with the team to also coach him thru it if he needs it will get it done and also my thing is, if Will had a hard time beating Castro, and Castro is wayyy smaller than B Ellis, I don't see how b Ellis would have any less of a problem.🤷🏾‍♂️

Arm swing probably can’t be used when being guarded and you have the ball in your hand too, and any contact with the person will break some jumping mechanics.
