I bought some of these and when I got them in the mail, I scratched my head as to how to fish them. Your video ironed that out. I'll get back to you, later, after I put then to the litmus-test. I have the perfect lake to try them out.

I don’t get a ton of bites with the big ones but the bites I get are solid fish

Love these baits . I used he same color but with 8" Bellows stick. 5/O EWG ,15 lb Braid,20lb floro leader. Weightless Texas Rig. Tried different retrieves . You can fish all kinds of ways. I did a bond cast, then 2 big rips through the water, let it sink Then Boom. Love these baits. The smaller sizes are REALLY tiny. I ALWAYS throw BIG baits. I want to weed out juveniles. Can;t wait to try my Gills . Thanks and keep casting

Love your delivery. Informative without fluff. Your explanation of the techniques you use to fish the bait were straightforward, something a ton of fisherman struggle with. Subscribed and looking forward to more videos.

Thanks man. This isnt hard. It’s a man made pond and requires man made maintenance. No different than a yard. Expecting “Mother Nature” to come mow the grass is as foolish as expecting Her to stock the pond properly. Ponds have limited space for fish so we only want the fish that mix well together. Thanks for the follow. Much more will be coming

I picked up the smaller ones after seeing one of your first vids on Insta, have had success fishing it on the Owner 2/0 underspin. I need to go up in size and see how it does for me. Thanks for the great video!

Been using these for months. Works amazing! I have only had good solid bites! 3 plus pound bass. So when one hits I know it’s a good one! It’s my go to bait on grass edges and rock ledges!

I have had the same experience, it seems to trigger larger fish

Cool lure! The vibration factor from that ribbed body structure is very different from other soft plastics.

I sont have the geecrack versiom but i do have the thunderhawk version. Haven't put too much time into it but i plan on it. I picked them up because of the 8 pounder you caught on one a while ago.

Wow! This was very informative and helpful. I have been considering this bait, but didn’t have a clear idea of how to rig/fish it. Thank you.

I've been looking at it for a dock flipping bait. Just has a really good bait fish profile. The bellows gill and bellows shad.

Good review, never thought about fishing it with a blade. I've done well using an unweighted 8/0 Owner beast, wrapping a little lead tape around the hook and fishing it like a Fluke.

If you haven't tried throwing it on a free rig, you definitely need to give that a shot. It's money.

That lure would work in muddy or stained water focus being on the lateral line. Maybe even a trailer on a jig !

@aquaticbiologist6515 , does trout also use their lateral line in hunting as much or do they use sight more?
@aquaticbiologist65168 ай бұрын
They use lateral line. One study I read a while back was looking at poor lateral line development in hatchery raised trout
@MrLagerblad8 ай бұрын
@@aquaticbiologist6516 interesting, I have fished for (vild) sea run trout in the Baltic Sea. I’ve often seen fish follow the bait, intensely inspecting the bait and often deciding to not strike. As an amateur, the conclusion is that they use sight more to hunt.
@aquaticbiologist65168 ай бұрын
They are using lateral line as well as vision. They work together. They can feel your fishing line in the water even if they can’t see it. It may be the vibration making them refuse your lure
