I use this at the grocery store all the time and the farmers market. This review was spot on. I wish they did have a zipper spot for your wallet and keys as well as way to hold it together when it is folded up.

I have a Matadore tote that lives in my purse. I got it at a clearance price. It is so tiny in storage that I don't notice it. Yet, it is large when needed. I can carry at least 2 shopping bag equivalents of groceries. The tote easily handles the weight. I have used it for at least 4 months with no detectable harm to the tote. I bought a Matadore backpack because I liked the tote so much.

I'm surprised it doesn't have the leather accents all around on the handle straps. It would have made it more appealing. Is there a bellroy logo? I think they took the low road on this one.

They want their products to be environmental friendly and animal cruelty free, which is good.

@@ev6377 Yup, a lot of recent bellroy products are leather free. With their investment into Mirium, my guess is that they want to go as leather-free as possible.

@@praxis-cat870 yes. And it's amazing that more companies are working towards the same goal. Btw, bellroy's lite version of bags looks amazing especially the sling 😊

You bring up a good point, Penpals and Journaling! This tote is leather-free. As for logo, there's a small wordmark where the strap connects to the bag. - Tom
