Situated in the rural Kent countryside, west of Tonbridge, east of Edenbridge and just south of Bough Beech lies the small and compact village of Chiddingstone, which is basically consists of a few shops, a couple of pubs, castle not so far away and cricket club on barely more than a couple of roads. It does also have a parish church with a rather lovely 17cwt ring of 8.
They are lovely to ring, go very well and the back bells produce a decent hum. They also sound arguably at their best when pushed along slightly, but not too fast.
