I cried. I’m a woman in her thirties and I cried, especially with the audiobook voiceovers. Moody, in the books, reminiscing to Harry like an old war veteran who lost his entire unit to battle. The presumed death of Mary MacDonald, which possibly spurred her friends to join the Order in her honor, Sirius losing everyone and the next 12 years of his life…. and that song is so beautiful and sad. You did a wonderful job.

Personally, it is already a tradition for me to cry over your works on October 31st. I have no words, I reviewed EVERY moment and did not believe that it even exists. How perfectly the quotes, fragments and manips are chosen...It's just unbelievable. You have reached some new, absolutely wonderful and powerful level. WOW. I'm... every time you update something, you raise the bar higher and higher. This.. this leaves me absolutely speechless. The song choice is like poetry and the scenes and voiceovers are the rhymes. I absolutely adore everything but the part with Marlene absolutely shattered my heart to pieces. God I love and hate the 31st of October : because every time I cry while looking at art.

I just realized I never told you what a masterpiece this is. It might be one of my favorite videos of yours ever, everything about it is perfection. I love the fancast, the coloring, the manips and the song choice. been awhile since i watched this and came back to see it again and was taken aback by it all over again. this is technically brilliant in a way that boggles the mind like the manips look literally unbelievably good, but also just the way you’ve narratively combined all these things together to pull out from the books (and i love the audiobook narration here) a tragedy that’s too vast to ever be contained in it except in passing and used like other media to bring the story to life like !!! like it makes me feel robbed of getting to see every instance of it, and also i don’t know i don’t feel robbed at all, i feel blessed i get to see this :) all of the character beats in this feel earned and true to canon will also feeling entirely new, like you’ve created characters for me to love in less than four minutes, literal witchcraft, thanks for it :) i’ll watch this forever etc

oh.... my god... lili... i have no words. you have outdone yourself again and i didn't even know it was possible... this is so cohesive? the storytelling immaculate, the manips so realistic if i didn't know any better i'd be one of those comments going "i cant find this movie anywhere someone pls help" - like i. speechless. how do you weave in voice overs so well to make ACTUAL conversations THAT MAKE SENSE. literally.... what........ also 0:54 was a CRUEL THING TO DO (and yes i had to stop from listing every sirius moment bec otherwise i would be, unhinged-) absolute marvel on how you did this. i always find slow songs are especially difficult for me bec they require a LOT of precision when it comes to storytelling and like, you just do it so effortlessly?? knowing you finished this too so quickly i- the TALENT?
