10:10 I don't like this at all. This just feels like retconning to me. Oh, so you say Magni JUST HAPPENED to turn himself into a diamond accidentally and then Azeroth JUST HAPPENED to need a speaker and his spirit JUST HAPPENED to be awake enough inside this diamond form (when, according to new info, he should have been DEAD - that's what decommissioned means to a living creature) and they both JUST HAPPENED to get on the same page and get Magni to Khadgar and us at the right moment. That's a lot of things lining up - and, frankly, I liked it more when it seemed like Azeroth had some agency in deciding upon her speaker; when the story was the it took that long for Azeroth's voice to wake up inside him and for him to learn how to communicate with her - NOT Azeroth essentially going 'oh, lookit this dorf that is a diamond now. I think I shall take this accident and see if I can talk to it and make it talk to the other little things up there'. One of the big things that Horde players (like myself) didn't get bent out of shape about was that it made sense for Magni to be chosen as Speaker. Few races have more respect for and a deeper connection to the actual earth of Azeroth - and, by all accounts, Magni was a fair and honorable leader and entirely devoted to the health not only of this race, but of his home. (I wish more Alliance players would have had this same mindset when it came to Thrall in Cataclysm, but I digress...) Why can't we just leave old lore alone and just let it be the way that things happened?? Why does every single expansion now have to re-write events we've already seen and/or played through in game from some different point of view that lessens the impact and meaning of the original event and/or explanation? This is literally Blizzard saying to us, every expansion: "You know that game-winning point you scored? You only scored it because someone else let it happen to make you feel good."

There is no "curse" of flesh, flesh is pure, stones and metal are not. Magni never spoke to Azeroth, he spoke to Eonar pretending to be Azeroth. During Antorus he even says he hears a familiar voice and when he truly speaks with Azeroth he gets knocked back.

I have a smaller theory why Azeroth stopped communicating with Magni and it follows Neltharion's theory. Neltharion felt that Azeroth was dying. Azeroth communicates through feelings, and Neltharion sensed this. And back then, virtually no one knew that Azeroth was a titan. Plus, while the Old Gods were shut down, they were so deeply rooted in her that they continued their corruption (just not as fast). So the hard feelings of Azeroth informing Neltharion and the whispers of N'zoth at the same time caused his belief in a dying Earth. Neltharion eventually ended up fully corrupted and Azeroth lost the possibility of communication for a long time. Chance came with Magni and prepared him so that he could help her. After N'zoth was defeated, there wasn't much left that could significantly harm her (except for the sword). Azeroth continued to evolve until it reached the point where it was able to contact certain people. But at the same time she blessed the Aspects who are once again able to do what she needs, one of which replaced Neltharion. Now Ebyssian may have become Azeroth's speaker and she no longer needs Magni.

Magni not hearing the radiant song is a hint that radiant song is not coming from Azeroth. Keep in mind locus walker said he heard a similar song when his planet got attacked by the void. This could very well be part of the voids invasion plan, something like gathering up enemy forces to take them out in one go. Currently we know it's something that people hear when void attacks a planet and that magni, the one that speaks with the world soul, hears nothing

I think Azeroth changed and no longer talks to Magni because when Sargeras stabbed her, Azerite was bled out all over the surface of the planet. As we know, the Titans infused their pawns with order magic or arcane to direct their evolution; so now Azeroth's blood has been flushed of whatever elements the Titans infused her with. Since the transformation Magni underwent was related to the Titans it makes sense that he's not attuned to Azeroth anymore now that she's freed from their influence.
