I just came back to the game recently and might try out one of these to get my final level done on my warrior! i don't know anything about the "dreamsurge buff" so will have to look that up. one thing i noticed is that the storm's fury event is much faster to do now, bosses got nerfed a good bit, but wasn't super good xp or anything. the fyrak's assault or w/e gave good xp though, and crafting can do an easy level or so if you get a profession from 1-60 ish

It's been in retail for awhile. What makes it easy and somewhat new is that there are tons of top geared players in these areas now grinding out the achievements. So it makes it simple for a low level toon to just tag mobs and watch their health melt away.

The only issue with the Primalist mobs giving more XP is they don't actually count for the achievement so there will be less max levels killing them (some still do as people don't realise they don't count)

Just tried it. Every mob is grey as soon someone else tags it and doesnt give xp :/ And when I tag a mob in time i get 230xp rested at lvl 68.

It's not the storms that make this great. Leveling there has been good for a long time. It been being used for boosting people for months.

Honestly i would be surprised if anything was considered an overkill these days in terms of levelling. They just nerf super busted cases and usually only at a start of an expansion, if even that.

I am going to dislike this video. I almost never dislike videos, but these type of videos have to stop. There is nothing exciting or admirable in xp boosts, quick leveling tactics, etc.. these videos should address the problem here which is: People are happy when they find a way to NOT PLAY THE GAME - which is ridiculous. Blizzard need to solve the issue at its core and make sure that leveling is an integral fun part of the game, not some chore people hate doing.

On one side, leveling is so pointless, boring, and sleep inducing, that I'd say "quick is good" .... on the other hand, this doesn't really change the fact that I have numerous level 70 characters and cannot find a single reason to play any of them. Guess we will see what the upcoming dungeon changes bring.
