(the dsmp had already existed for a couple months prior) arguably wilbur was also the protag in the first season, up until he died. even now the exile arc is the main storyline and it revolves entirely around tommy

The fact that a man, as weak and powerless as Shlatt, was able to bring L'Manburg to it's knees speaks volumes about how unstable and dysfunctional the system was. From this perspective, Techno sacking the city and Will blowing it up feels much more justified: they were the only ones, who realized, that there is no future for a nation which can so easily fall into tyranny and disorganization. But while Techno was more optimistic about the supposed collectivist-anarchist future, which in his eyes was inevitable, Will just wanted to destroy his corrupted creation Also, amazing animatic! I really liked the cinematography, especially in those last frames. They are just bone chilling!

Oh. My. God. This was phenomenal. The colors, the shading, the way everything played out was absolutely chilling and stunning. I am left speechless--breathless even. The scene that definitely got me the most was Phil stabbing Wilbur in the chest and Ghostbur at the end by far.
