I've gotta admit I was so inspired from watching your videos I had to buy a Darkbuka. I was like, ahh that's the sound. The way you play makes so many sounds, interesting hearing this vid in comparison to your technique now. I think you have def added some extra special slappage with the 'buka over time.

Great connection and energy! 💙 May I ask if you use a compressor or a limiter in your setup? I'm still an amateur in live looping, I only play at home and I don't know if the compressor pedal will solve the unevenness of the volume. Each sound needs a different sound level. Thanks! :)

Thank you ! I use a mixer before the looper/delay. I control volumes end eq before each sound enter the looper. That it stays at that level (I use a single button / one track looper so no way to mix after that). You need lots of experience to be able to do that without overload everything … as I’m saying it’s experience, it’s “live mixing” with no mistake permitted
