I loved meeting these women in San Fransisco after going to see them at a special little middle eastern restaurant, (thanks to my friends from a band called Zoh who I'd just love to reconnect with), who let me know about them due to my interest in bellydance. This was in 1993. I'll never forget how inspired I was by the woman with a grapevine tattoo which wrapped around her hips, dancing with a sword on her head. So... years passed, I learned ATS and ended up forming a group with dear friends in New Zealand :) So fun!

if I could do life over, I would have said YES to staying on longer in San Fran so I could have gone to Carolina's lessons and joined the troupe!

I did ITS from 2009 -2015 when our teacher quit. we learned some of ATS also.. but we've recently received another teacher nearby, and I'm so thrilled to be able to dance again.! I'm learning ATS now, and I Love it so much, thanks Carolina!
