The theme of the song is that the soldier will protect the Motherland and its people while his grateful woman will keep and protect their love. Its lyrics became relevant during the Second World War, when many Soviet men left their wives and girlfriends to serve in the Soviet Army during World War II, known in Russia as The Great Patriotic War.

Hello Beloe Zlato....MAD 45 here from Ohio.....great job on connecting with and promoting folk culture.....real cool to see you return to your folklore roots.....I don't speak a word of Russian....but that does not matter when you sing.....don't forget to consider making some Beloe Zlato t-shirts printed....just go with a basic one color ink on a black t-shirt.....with the Beloe Zlato logo.....or a cool font.....something to consider as this is the way that bands are making money these days....through merchandise.......great to see you four.....and your wonderful musical chemistry....keep up the great work!!
