A good question to ask is why were the reunions discontinued? They helped wrap up a lot of things that happened during and after filming (ie: Gary / Colin / Daisy) etc

Couldn't agree more that in the beginning it was great because people were really wanting to make a living on boats. Now they all just want their 15 minutes of fame and then be a social media star. I almost can't watch anymore. And every season has a Gary King now, and I can't STAND Gary King. To me he's just as bad as Luka and he's a sexual predator. I just want him off my screen and if they didn't cut him out of the next season of BDSY, I won't be watching it, and I've watched every season of every one. I also find useless the "Never Before Scene" recap shows. Just make them all Galley Talks! Either with lots of different previous cast members, or just Kate Chastain. Kate is the QUEEN of Below Deck. She's the best at the Galley Talk. Make it a permanent thing please!!!

Every Below Deck is my #1 favorite show. Seen every episode 😂. I loved Adventure & Norway. Suprised to hear it wasn't a huge hit. Plz do it again. Aisha is hysterical!! Love Capt. Jason. Melissa, have yr friend back soon. Loved this podcast 👏 🙌 ❤️

Below Deck has changed. now it seems like they just audition hot people from only fans. It doesn’t feel authentic. It’s like a competition who has more plastic surgery and fake hair and fake eyelashes and lips, etc. I miss when they still looked like normal people.

Can I just say Melissa, I am an Aussie, I haven’t really seen you in ages and I stumbled across you and this podcast. I’ve been so unwell and a doctor suggest I pick the franchise up and to see you pop up was lovely. The fact that captain Jason is vaguely near me brings me joy even though I’m chronically ill and super disabled and will NEVER be close to chartering anything, including a mobility scooter because I only have 3% vision!🤣🤣🤣 I am disappointed at how easy you pet the worst cast member thing to, though pleased you acknowledge that the incident in down under was the downfall of the two worst, Laura being on equal footing. That was disgusting but handled so well by crew in the moment. I think your mum would have poked you more to grill harder. I like to think she’s screaming “MELISSA” down at you from the heaven she demanded which nobody was brave enough to deny her. Xxx p.s. now I know about your podcast I’ve subscribed off of this one ep. I have post grad qualifications I worked my sick ass off for in theatre but mediums do cross over and this I think was your calling. You are as entertaining as you are intelligent. I also love the explaining of terms you do. It hits the right note of informative and not condescending.

I love hearing from the producers! It added a great dimension to the After Shows plus their perspective is amazing. I wish they would do it again. I agree the show has changed to the point of, it seems, the cast isn't necessarily interested in working. After BDM Lexi and chef constant butting heads I can't watch anymore.
