The four all had tragic backstories. QuackerJack was driven insane by feeling unappreciated and probably had childhood issues. Megavolt was tormented and his brain was fried past the point of repair. Bushroot was tormented for years, even as an adult, and loneliness drove him just a bit mad. Liquidator was a criminal before he got his powers, but this man pretty much boiled alive and DW didn't do crap. Negaduck is just greedy and likes to cause suffering.
