Hi - I hope that you still check on new comment/questions after 2 years. I have a question about the length of the jaacket whilst you're riding your bike. Is the jaacket so short in the back that it exposes your lowere back to wind? I have a Belstaff Ivy, a waxed cotton called the Imperial, a made-for-Goodwood limited production lancer-style jacket in light grey, etc. While I do like the Brooklands, motolegends reviews sayss it's short in the back. I live in San Francisco, so warm weather is rare, plus I ride twisties and technical roads in the redwood forests south of the city. I was about to place an order last night, but I thought it best to contact actual riders, and you are the first! Thanks.

This may be the very first review that I have seen of a Belstaff jacket done by a buyer and not the merchandisers. Your review is valuable. I normally wear a size L, but I wonder if the back protector will make a size L too snug. I have number of jackets that become straitjackets when the back protector is in place.

Hey mate, thanks for the feedback. That what I thought when I was researching the jacket…. I couldn’t see many independent reviews! Mine is a XXL and it’s quite snug anyway as you can see from the video. The back protector is pretty slick and slips into the back on the jacket no problem. Doesn’t really make it too much tighter so I think you will be ok. If you try to wear something bulky (like a jumper or a hoodie) under the jacket then it can get pretty tight, at least mine did. I’m in Australia, and it’s pretty warm so most of the time can wear the jacket on it’s own. If your somewhere a bit colder then maybe you need to go a size up to allow for wearing some warm clothes underneath? Cheers

Thanks for this video. I'm about your size and looking at the Belstaff Turner. I'm thinking about sizing up to 3XL since I'd like to be able to layer for colder weather. How did you find the arm length?

Hey mate, sure, size up if you are gonna be layering. I am in Aus, and generally warmer here. The XXL gives me enough room for a hoodie or sweater underneath. Arm length is plenty long enough for my gorilla (long arms, short body!). Let us know how you go when you get it!

I went for an XL in the Turner. Fits perfect. Size guide had me at XXL but after watching some fit guides on Revzilla they mentioned that you should go one size down. I have a 43” chest. I even use a back protector. Love the jacket btw.
