These are not made by Hoysala, Chola, Mourya or whatever kings. These structures are so so so many thousand years old. These 800-1000 years ago kings did some changes here and there and carved their names to boost their ego. This is absolute ancient technology and not chiesel and hammers.

Karnataka has thousands of temples like this.. Karnataka had highest number of ASI protected temples in India! Also Karnataka is the only state which has Dravidian style Temples, Nagara style Temples and vesara style temple which is hybrid of those two!! Kalyani Chalukya temples and Hoysala temples are most intricately carved temples in India...

Without any doubt, this temple has the most intricately carved figures in any temple in India. That is my opinion and I can be told I am incorrect and OK to be corrected. The level of precision in this temple is out of the world. The priest was talking behind a sculpture of Vishnu and it was very precise and very well made. Amazing statues.
