That is because it didn't have any stoppage, commercial run will be much longer, bcs the speed is same 130kmph, current vande bharat routes are shorter bcs it gets priority over other express not bcs of speed.

Vande bharat bhi trial ke waqt 180 touch karo thi, lekin aaj kuch vande bharat average 96 pe chal rahi h. I am not saying ki kuch improvement nhi ho raha h, but to comparing it's regular run over trial run is not really compatible.

I had already predicted the trouble with the strips used for middle berth.. Had pointed out that the strip is very susceptible to bending.. Also if you think about the process od raising the middle berth, with the strip, the heavy berth will have to be moved up / down to fit the strip slot.. Whereas incase of the 'flexible' chain, the heavy beth can be held steady and the chain hook can be easily moves to fit it into the berth's peg.. It is very disturbing that designers couldn't anticipate this problem 😢😢
