Hello ! What are the exams that a specialised doc should appear for? To have a medical lisence in canada
@BeMoAcademicConsulting3 жыл бұрын
Hello Prameela! Thanks for your question! All residents start out as "general practitioners" so you will need to pass all the same exams, such as MCCQE Part I and MCCQE Part II, as well as NAC OSCE if you are an IMG. Once you are in residency, the kind of steps you need to pass/complete will depend on your specialty.

Hello! It is often said that MCCQE is difficult for IMG's. Is that the case? Should an IMG go for it or choose an alternative?
@BeMoAcademicConsulting3 жыл бұрын
Hi Paradox! Thank you for your question. The MCCQE is a challenge for both Canadian applicants and IMGs. You do not really have an alternative if you want to become a physician in Canada. You must complete this exam if you want to practice in Canada.

Just a small question so i am an IMG and lets suggest that i passed may MCCQ Exam , what comes after ? do i have to go through supervised practicing and for how long , and after that can i start working as a general doctor or i need to pass the NOC OSCE as well thank you in advance .
@BeMoAcademicConsulting3 жыл бұрын
Hello Omar! Thank you very much for your question. Firstly, you definitely need to pass your NAC OSCE as an IMG to be eligible for residency. You can choose to take the NAC exam and the MCCQE Part I in the order that you prefer. You must also be a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada to participate in CaRMS. Once you have these examinations completed and passed, you can participate in the CaRMS match, but keep in mind that the requirements of MCC is just one set of criteria. You must research the requirements of each province separately in order to apply for positions in those provinces. @BeMoAcademicConsulting3 жыл бұрын
Hello Delishan! Thanks for your question. Firstly, there is the possibility of remote proctoring, but mostly, the exam is taken in a Prometric center near you. There are more than 500 Prometric test centers across the globe with hundreds of remote proctors available, you should try to secure your desired date and location (if applicable) as soon as possible. Please check whether there is a Prometric test center near you which you can use to take the exam. Hope this helps!
