The idea of an alien species creating art with a fungus-derived hallucinogenic that makes the art come to life for the viewer is actually so brilliant. I imagine they would use different compounds in different combinations to make guided hallucinations that tell simple stories with each work of art

Besides, the Chronians have been canonically dead for seemingly a long time. I can see which elements each species represents. Polar: ice, Talus: earth, Mire: mud, Tropic: plant (their slime is of plant-origin), Costal: water, Submar: heat, Subter: light, Fung: poison, Torrid: fire. Slag: lava. And I like how they tried to make it different for each species and not just giving them all elemental breaths.

The reason why Arctiguana is my favorite transformation is because of the unique design and, at the time, unique power of ice. But when I heard that they were doing his home world of X’Nelli, a planet that has multiple biomes, it caught my attention. The fung mazidrilla are such a unique alien idea. They repurpose their food for a great defence, a predator coming to close could be scared off or disorientated and the art thing is amazing.

This entire lore video is everything I love about sci-fi; demonstrating so many varied cultures and I love seeing the various other species just hanging out on the planet because the different biomes can so easily cater to more or less everyone. So many cool call-backs as well, seeing Attea and Looma hanging out together is really cute (referencing the "Ben's girlfriends as adults" -video). You guys are immensely creative and I can't wait to see more with each video.

Just as always the ink tank team breath so much life into each of the worlds in this videos with how you could basically tell a whole lengthy story just around each planet alone, I particularly adore how much diversity you bring into the civilians in each given moment, they're all so great. And man, that is a hype ending.

Where do I even begin! This episode was such a wild ride, I have so much to say! I really liked the flow of this episode. Each species' segment transitioned into the other's nicely in a very natural progression. It looks to me that Rob had contributed a lot more art for this episode compared to previous ones and it seems that Ryan had slightly altered his artstyle to match that too. The visual style feels very cohesive, despite the fact that the two artists working on them have pretty different artstyles. I fully expected that there would be about 5-6 mazardill subspecies, but 10! That's so many! I wonder which 2 of the new 9 would make it to Ben's arsenal of aliens, or maybe all of them make it in as a case similar to Upchuck's. Nothing would have prepared me for the sheer amount of alien species that cameoed in this episode, and so many of them are fan-made commission aliens! This inclusion feels to me like an ultimate love letter to the community and it was so exciting to experience! The new kaiju form for Addwaitya is so cool looking! I wonder what happened between the Ledgerdomain And Beyond and this one for him to change like that. I am also surprised that his arc wasn't concluded in this season finale, but I guess the Tank has bigger plans for him than I anticipated. I really like that one of the guardians of Ledgerdomain turned to be a real god that the manzardill worship. They actually alllowed Horas to say fuck, I am so happy for that! I guees, I shouldn't be too surprised that they're turnig a Horas into an actual distinct character from all the other drones. He is, after all, probably The Ink Tank's favourite creation.

Been watching the Worldbuilding Corner series all week, which included talk of biomes on Earth-like planets, and I watch videos from Artifexian and Biblaridon for world building planets. This was amazing work on how it's got many biomes and no seasons from no axial tilt! I really love the many Manzardill subspecies!

Oh, this one was PEAK! Loved just pausing the video the whole time to spot all the alien species running around in this tourist-y planet, as well as all the Pokémon references I could recognize. (Also the Lilo & Stitch guy was probably the best cameo) I love that Arctiguanna and his sub-species were just 1/10th of this planet's notable inhabitants and everything else was the other sub-species related to them. It's really interesting seeing a scenario where evolving intelligence, sapience and becoming the dominant inhabitants on the planet all happened so long ago that those same aliens have had the time to evolve further and differentiate themselves from one another. Coastal Mandarzill gotta be my favorites, cuz I relate so hard. Also, the end was so cool and I can't wait to see what happens next!
