Yess, Ben 10 was PEAK! I actually had that toy you were talking about LMAO God, I wore that thing out. I haven't really kept up with the franchise since Ultimate Alien, and even then I was sort of falling off due to entering my "cartoons are for babies" phase. I'm definitely gonna check out some of the newer stuff!

Ah yes, the phase that I for some reason decided to skip, even with all the pressure around me not to. Honestly I cannot reccomend Omniverse highly enough. It's one of my favorites. It suffers a bit in some aspects, as Cartoon Network meedled a lot, so Ben is not always super serious, but they have some great episodes. My favorites are the 200 special "And then there was none" "and then there was Ben" But check it out at your own discretion. I am glad you enjoyed the video.

I?m glad you liked it, maybe consider checking out some other videos of the channel, they are also pretty good. I do have plans for at least 1 more Ben 10 video (gotta escape Alien X somehow), but it's a bit later down the line, in the metaphorical season 2... I think you're confused. It's not animation companies that's making cartoons for kids. It's a lot of adults and teenagers who THINK animation is mainly for kids, when it's not. How do they dumb down cartoons? That doesn't make any sense. Kids CAN watch them. Sure. But they're not made specifically for kids, despite what the age demographic tells you. The ONLY cartoons that exist FOR KIDS are preschool cartoons. Ben 10 is a franchise that was never something made mainly for kids, even if the main character himself is a 10 year old. Animation is something that can tell any story. And if people think something like ben 10 is made mainly for kids, that needs to change. Cuz it clearly isn't.

Well, confused I may be, but I don't think that much. The fact that adults think this way, trickles down to investors, who also share the same thoughts, which leads to the overall studios making things this way. With the dumbing down, I am mostly refering to the way they plan out their jokes. Like with Teen Titans Go as that has taken over and spread across reboots, the humor doesn't take the audience seriously, incorporates fart jokes a bit too much and has a cutesier art style to try and appeal to younger demographic. I recall hearing that the people behind Man of Action wanted to make a cooler one, based on anime. But Cartoon Network made them go in a different direction. Somethign similar happen in the ways they made Ben's character regress in the UAF era, which persisted into Omniverse. And while the show isn't done mainly for kids, these shows sustain themselves on merchendasing and toy sales, which as far as companies like Bandai who produce this are concerned is the target demographic. But what do I know, I'm just some guy on the internet who's far too much of a nerd about Animation.

@@NoahzNook the jokes arent what determines if the show is for kids. The jokes are just jokes. Why would you assume kids are the only ones who would laugh at fart jokes? Ttg IS a comedy series afterall. PRESCHOOL CARTOONS on the other hand are the ones being dumbed down cuz they involve a character talking to their audience, which is obviously children. (Their only audience). Asking them a question like "where's the park? Can you find the park?" When its literally right there. And then you hear the voices of children responding, saying "RIGHT THERE! RIGHT THERE!" Its like breaking the fourth wall, except it sounds dumb. Cartoons that literally teach their audience about colors and numbers. Meanwhile, ttg is a superhero comedy show that's actually smart cuz its shown many times that its not made just for kids. And its pretty violent for something alot of people claim to be a "kids cartoon". Next thing u know, the kids watching it will start imitating the violence. Remember, ttg spawned from the og series, which was pretty dark, and DEFINITELY wasnt a kids cartoon.

THe ideal one I'd like to have would be: Upgrade - To help animate as I can interface with the computer Clockwork - To manage the time better XLR8 - Love the Speed Ditto - To work on different things at once. Gravattack - Very fun guy Jeffrey, I mean Jetray - Good for transportation Diamondhead Feedback Rath Swampfire Last ones are mostly for fun. But if I were making a playlist for a story, I'd do this: - Fast Track - He is overhated and has no feats to speak of so utilizing him would be a good way to give him chances to make him different from XLR8 - Kicking Hawk - As a general Brawler (also feel he's underutilized and he's pretty cool. - Chamalien - Again same reasons - Crash Hopper - Instead of a flyer. - Frankenstrike - For electiricity - Grey Matter- For smarts - Articuana - Fun one that we haven't seen too much of. - Heatblast - Giving him some other options for combat. - Water Hazzard - Just giving him different elements to mess around with here. - Waybig - I struggled with a last one, but giving a big canon that isn't always available because of cities and stuff seems cool to me. I don't know, I think a pretty good story would be able to be told with those. And my own personal one is to help with my workaholic tendensies and have a bit of fun too.

@@NoahzNook Banger playlists man, personally for your second playlist I would make some changes Its pretty good but I think having water hazzard and arctiquana is a little odd, as they bother deal with "water" i feel like better choices would be Armadrillo and Big Chill, i feel like those choices would provide more well rounded-ness for storytelling, and I know you have crashhopper instead of a flyer but I think its necessary, Crashhopper would still be useful with the option of big chill because crashhopper is faster too. Thoughts? Oh and Armadrillo is a really powerful choice as having the ability to go through the ground is very useful

I would honestly enjoy a continuation
