Blame it on a mix of being too young, the Vietnam War and his stint in the military, and parental disapproval, we were doomed from the start. Thirty years later, we rekindled our relationship, remarried, and will be married 22 years this October. When she and Ben broke up the first time, it took her only a few months to date, get engaged and marry Marc Anthony! And that union lasted for under 10 years, I think? And in between, I think I remember there was a ceremony to renew their vows? That depends on who it is. It takes more than LOVE to hold a marriage together especially when one is a recovering addict and they have teenage kids from previous marriages. Having a blended family sounds great but it does not always work out because the kids might not get along or like your new mate. or the addict relapses. So it will require a lot of work.

I still think Ben was at his absolute best when he was married to Jen Garner. They were together for over 10 years. I vehemently disagree with Sunny. Homegirl needs to SLOW. DOWN. Jumping from engagement to engagement is not healthy. Take time to self-reflect and genuinely wonder what you want out of a suitor, and what you want out of yourself. Rich or not, that rule should apply to anyone getting out of a breakup.

I just don’t understand what the rush is????! They’ve only dated not even a year and they are engaged already? Plus it’s not like they are young and fresh, they’ve been through multiple relationships, engagements, and marriages. I’m 28 and have been dating my boyfriend for 1 1/2 years already. We are enjoying dating and taking things slow and plan to marry eventually for sure….J lo and Ben both have kids too. I just really don’t understand why she always has to rush getting engaged in every relationship 😅

At her age it’s better to be dating someone for a couple of years before making any serious commitments than getting engaged every 2 years and having to call of a wedding or get divorced again.
